These kind of back to back candles always get my attention and generally lead to Pain and Gain... just not at the same time for the same person.

Looks just like a typical Frankie Open...

Putting in a small trade and leaving the room for a few hours...

LOL, Nah system cool ( my use of is what's taken ages to perfect ), the simple main essence and most important factor is, 1M chart 5SMA and 20SMA, trade the direction of the 5SMA and above / below the 20SMA kinda, then use other SMA's to pick entrys and only trade with the trend so I'll never try to pick a bottom as bottoms normally don't go far enough to count before a new bottom is made.

Confused, so am I

Trade goes against me, hopefully I'm out @-15 pips and I should rarely take a loss

Time requirement is HUGE and very few trades are made each day, but I miss ALOT!! are the downsides!!

LOL I Wish, since Last Monday, still down £400 since August 2006 I think.

£1200 since starting 5 years+ ago.

I have alreay paid my tuition fee in thousands of dollars, so I don't do any more of what you have referred to. Yes 20K account is good enough to blow off in few weeks. But if you have more in your account (and equal amount of grey matter between both of your ears) you will never take more than 1-2% risk with a reward less than that % and not without waiting for right opportunity.

Agree totally, so your risk is LOW anyway, not alot of option not alot of spare cash so I restarted with what was in my account 6months back ( was £197, 1st trade down to £110 ) so that had to do could add but only when account is margined is my rule.

So yes I've got to risk abit to kick start my account again, which is taking time.

And 18 trades ZERO losers, trust me I'm waiting for the right oppertunity too much so currently. Only held 1 trade into Negative all the rest have ticked from -3 spread to profit fairly nicely

I regard both your courage and thinking. This game is all about how much you can afford to lose, not how much you want to make. I my opinion one should always look at how much a trade is going to cost before clicking. Read my Avatar.

lol, the dollars you mention are way too high for me.
I would not risk more than $1.00 per pip in a $1,000 account.

But just to see what is possible, a few weeks ago I opened a sub account for $1.00 (only possible @ Oanda)
28 hours later I had doubled that account.

IF I don't lose, then my trade costs nothing.

Yes if you win 50% of the time, you've got to make the same as you lose to break even, but when 100% ( or near ) you can risk 30pips to make 10pips and still grow the account.

As said, I'm risking 15pips really, 30 WORST case and should be averaging 25pips profit when fully self trained and not panic exiting!!

i did something close. but for less pips and market had to be moving some at least ... with trend... when shorting wait till price is above sma then short when you think its peeked..as high as possible above..once it goes lower then sma have finger on trigger... and always pull it if your possitive trade is slipping...this works well with a small range of 25-30 pips.. you can add other indicators...some cross at ideal entries.. what keeps me from doing it more is sometimes you get in a trade longer then you wanted... it gets old watching a screen.. and i sometimes found myself forgetting i was in the trade and doing other stuff. but when it works its great.. if i lose 2 trades in a row i get out.and walk away... sl is up to you and can vary on the same pair on different days... but dont let it get away from you... you will waste more time waiting for it to come back to you.. time= trade=money.. if your not trading your losing money..when its working..i have got 40 possitive trades in a row doing this once..then lost on the last one eating 50% of the 40 trades (my personal best) trying to get 41 in a row..so dont get the big head..i havent traded this since this way... very stressful...

GBP is only x 1.4 these days so not alot in it.

Simply wouldn't get anywhere being that conservative I've got work and cash for 4months ( might get more in over it, plan for the worst hope for the best ), so I'm working with a target in mind to grow the account to £10,000 area by making 200pips per week.

We'll see, having a plan is better than no plan, even if the plan is crazy
