thank you.. that helps a lot...i got at least 14..just looking at it compared to the examples i was stratching my head... i thought it walked like a duck.. i guess it crowed like a chicken... but either way its a spring without a direction i assume..

I don't think that is an effective question. If everyone would answer you would find out that 90% of the people here are winners.
And that when actually close to 90% is losing.
But okay, I'm up 1% of account size which is more than I average.
Mainly from going short GBP/Yen.
I think it was hard to trade EU today.

I did consider your point posting and tried to carefully articulate my question. I am interested in two things: 1) were there any intra-day / short-term traders who made profits, 2) By looking at today's bars, I guess maximum profit should not be more than 1-5%, unless a trader by chance entered only one or two good trades, played in one direction, was extra cautious, everytime took a lucky decision, etc.

I want to check performance of others against my results which aren't much different than yours.

i was doing fine had got out my short... then took a nap... got up and it was back to where i originall shorted it.. so i did it again things were going great...and before i moved sl to be it happened.. the big spike... it cost me 60 pips when it hit sl..so im barely even at that point... and tonight im in a losing trade.. that apears will cost me 60 more since i broke my rule and enterd on the fly..i assume we are headed north some. they do got a few ceilings out there and i will pick one..but 60 in my threshhold for pain tonight.if this turns out to be true i will be negative 1.25 or close to it today.

I followed your advice pal. It would have been much more profitable if NY session hadn't coincided with my work hours. Unlike you, I am a very short term trader ...... one could use intra-hour term for this kind of trading.

I could use IntraTenMin's for mine recently, need to stay in longer when I've got a good setup and trust my setup, my short woulda made a killing today.

+20pips ish today, 2 trades, 18winners and 0 losers recently, but without any big profits it's kinda SLOW

Hopefully nail my other 180pips to hit target tommorow, working friday NO CHANCE unless I improve 10fold over night LOL
Nothing to it, but to do it!!! Stick to the plan FOOL!!!!

That's not a good news. But why a SL 60 pips away? were you expecting a profit of 600 pips?

I only had 10 minutes to play a trade while at work, so I put this trade on four out of my five accounts. Closed at whatever I could got hold of in 5 minutes. Stoploss were at 1/5th of expected profit.
