nothing really changed. My guess is it'll move once London opens, and I am in the pub.

nope i got united world capitol... i removed the software several times..but there is something about this software.. i tried to re download it but it still kept a record of who i was.. so i never had the option to change to the other firm..

Dont know ...... but expecting one........ it should...... sooner or later........., atleast a small one........ it is friday...... just enough to bring my stoploss to break-even......... After that no worries.

IG sucks in regards of support GFT are very helpful, not quite sure why but my best guess would be because I just recently opened an account with them..... Still I agree with all the comments about ECN brokers and will go to IB once trading full time which will be mid end of this year.

first support is around 3500 and i hope we will see it today.

Try downloading it from metaquotes.net: http://www.metaquotes.net/downloads/

Also, when you change the server

Quote
Select the "Tools" menu
Select "Options"
Go to the "Server" tab
Under "Server:" enter the IP "65.175.79.18:443" {without quotes}
Uncheck the box "Data Center auto configuration"
Click OK
Make sure you uncheck the box Data Center auto configuration

This will {well should} stop the platform changing it on you.

A longer term trader not only have a helicopter vision but he also have a submarine vision too BUT if the price is playing amongst the woods, then he will be lost and thats why they are not good at entry/exit except to scale in/out.
A scalper or short term trader will have no problem if price play hide and seek in the woods for he can see them quite clearly BUT if price decide to go underground or fly above the trees, then he will be lost becos he has lost sight of it and thats why they dont scale in/out and they leave good money on the table.
Those traders whose Third Eyes is opened can have a 3D vision of the whereabout of that sneaky little price and nailed them no matter where they are except how to maximise the profit without using too much of their risks capital.

This is my own silly analogy on forex trading and thats why it is not found anywhere else... Proprietorial mabbe ??

When you uninstall the platform, make sure the old program files folder is removed before reinstalling.

i.e. Crogram FilesMetatrader4 - Delete the Metatrader4 folder (or whatever it's named on your system).

Also, save any custom indicators in the "experts/indicators" folder that you want to keep before deleting the folder.

just to clarify: I am expecting a correction but anywhere from here to 1.3860. I repeat .... I am not expecting a correctin from 1.3670 but at any point between 1.3670 and 1.3860...... I am expecting it to touch either 1) 1.3550/1.3565 by friday close. Most probably around 2:00 pm EST or 2) where it will be at NY open anytime from 11:00 am Est to friday close.

This is just my guess and I am a gambler not a trader.

tell me....what do you make of this third example when 85% of the time they fit that profile and for the other 15% of the time are so lost it doesnt matter what they do?
