EO - Can you clarify if there are anything specific for pins, hangmans, hammers etc? This clears up a lot with hangman. So for you to classify it as a pin do you need any conditions to be met such as ratio of wick to body, etc?

Just want to make sure I'm not misinterpreting some of these on my charts.

Well, it's a visual for me more than a ratio. I'll get something together though that might make it a little easier. There are a couple of finer point details that I do look for that I'll clarify as well.

Hey EO,

We have the 1hr pin for short, and just now we have had a close on the 15 min 10ema how do you play this sort of thing?

Is it dependant on how quickly you want to be in and out of the market?

If you didn't get in short already, then you can let price drift up the wick of the h1 pin. THen short her from there. That's what I do when I've missed it. The hangman on the 15m is the prior PA as well to support the short once she gets up the wick.

what if it didnt climb up the wick of the 1hr pin tho? would you then have basically missed that trade and wait for another?

it's a strange day to trade short, I have tried 3 times today to little success. This time I moved my stop to b/e almost immediately as I had doubts so I'm out of the trade. I think I'll give it a rest this afternoon as the week has been good so far Thanks for all the tips EO

Excellent question, my brother Turtle and I were talking about this yesterday on my way home. This is where you need to have soldiers ready to go into the field of battle. Don't enter your full position on the opening of the prior h1 candle so you can add to her if she moves up. If she doesn't move up, then no loss, your already green, just with a small lot size that's all.
