DislikedHi All
Does anyone of you know if there is a version of Firebird which has incorporated an automatic halting of trades when a loss occurs?
I thought it could be a very useful feature
Lets say you spot what looks like a good strong up trend and set the Firebird running long (buying mode) in the morning and then go to work. Then, mid afternoon, unbeknown to yourself the trend reverses and a stop-loss is hit...
With a feature like this some big big losses can be avoided - right?
If nothing like this has been thought of - and if people think...Ignored
DislikedI haven't been using the EurGbp yet with this system. How does it compare? So far I have been using 3 currencies: EU, GU, UsCan, any thoughts on the best currencies?
Thanks

Dislikedfirst, i want to note that the brilian idea to use this EA is we must know the trend. All we need is self confidence using indicator to show the trend, and discipline using it
the higher timeframe is most avoid false signals based on any indicator, especially indi based on MA, so why i use SIDUS TREND at 4H TF
2nd. the RISK and REWARD Ratio is no good with this EA. 50 TP and 300SL mean we need 6 win to pay 1 lose
but it's okay if our SL never touched, but market is very random....so good MM is the KEY to success
3rd. i have no time to forward...Ignored
DislikedHi Alcazer, could you please tell me what ea system are you using? and wich parameters please?, i was using the firebird V63G but i stop using it because it started to ding alerts "excessive loss" and it does not made any trade anymore.
Thanks Alcazer, i apreciate your help.Ignored
DislikedI have to agree with you on the risk vs. reward problem, that was a big issue for me at first. However if you are very diligent in watching the trend "Driving it", and having the Dicipline to sit out once it starts to change I think it could still be profitable.
It would be interesting to tweak with the TP and SL a bit and find the best result for the given currencies. Have any of you done any backtesting trying different combinations eg. tp=40 SL = 200 etc?
Thanks
