Anyone got a 4 hour G/J chart handle? Sorry I can't post charts right now.

Looks like an 8 hour PB (2bar 4hour PB) on the geppy. (according to my web chart.)
Indicators show the past. Price Action "Indicates" the future.

how many pips below/above the bar do you normally place your entry orders??
sorry if this has been covered many times before. i usually place them 5 -10 pips below on the 4h bars and 10-20 on higher TFs.(anything lower 2 pips) i will also wait for price to break any round numbers if they are sitting too close.How does this stand against the general concensus??

Its always good to have a buffer to help valid your entry and you stated a good standard pip amount. But I always go back to this because it has helped me so much.

James16:

THIS IS CRITICAL.

WE MUST LEARN TO:

1. notice a strong s/r area just beyond our pa if it exists.
2. know that if we trade into it we had better be prepared for a quick reversal that could give us a loss if we are not prepared.

if we know its there we have several choices.

1. get out when it gets there for a small profit.
2. take a small partial profit and move the remainder to BE.
3. stay in with your total position hoping for a break and move your stop to BE.
4. Dont enter until the level has been broken

Hey jarroo, one thing iv noticed lately is that the ranges over the asian sessions have been MUCH bigger than usual.
what do think about this 8h pin on gb/chf ?both seem to promise 1:1 targets at least??

Looks like a nice PPZ levels at the 1.6550 level which Price may be heading towards again. A lot of traffic to the left and not at new or recent Highs. Not bad but could be alot better and that's what we are looking for, only the best.

I actually nearly fell off my chair when I read who that post is from.

I have read every single post of his (In his post history) and literally every one of them is worth a read.

I consider Darkstar to be a scaled down version of God, his posts are officially THE best posts on here, FACT. And they are literally all worth a read. He is literally, no . . my words actually don't do him justice.

Simply put, he has a mind that could shake the dead in their shrouds.

His post about the forex markets, where he compares the markets to understanding the color green is actual genius. Like. Actual Genius.

I never thought I would see him post again, My word.

Vroooom , back in the J16 Thread after what - 2 . . 3 weeks away from Forex ? (Due to University exams and study - I literally had to disconnect my computers to stop myself lol - Bad Times ) On Holidays now though ! - Good Times !

Just finished reading the posts I missed here, awesome work @ Jduester for the thread re-cap. I love how your approach is so structured to getting good at the J16 PA. Very cool.
