Good morning to you.
I spent two hours yesterday analizing daily downwards, because I had a particuar difficult day. (although I was down 20 pips it could have been far worse).

I believe the channel to be between 1.2887 & 1.2609, it ought to play up and down this area before eventually breaking low,(not necessarily doing it today) it could of course break high, but that is not how I read it.

My position at present: went short at 1.2803 GMT 1 lot out at 1.2797, 1 out at 1.2779, 1 out at 1.2745, the last 1 still on with S/Loss moved down to 1.2818.(I normally use 3 lots, but I am going out soon & won't be able to manage trade).
Good Trading. (keep it simple).

I'm waiting on the sidelines, 1.2730 looking resistant, 2 pin bars on the 15m already and a 3rd attempt, i'm thinking of putting a sell stop around there too

My main plan is to enter long around 1.2670, the lower TL on the 4H chart.
Alarms are set, meanwhile i'm busy shorting the pound (yet again! )

I agree, they should be on the job 24/7, like we do.
But besides of that, how big is the chance for EU to go down 233 pips overnight to 1.2500? I guess about zero.

But who am I?, I'm only right 9 out of 11 times. (Just checked it, I won in 9 weeks this year so far and lost in 2 weeks.
But my losing weeks were 2 times bigger than my winning weeks.
So go figure.
Can anyone do the math for me?

Everyone here is a lazy bastard. We making money from nothing. We earn the most and produce nothing usefull to society.
and going down 223 is more that feasible for EU. Look at DJ chart 1d . We have a Bullish candle a Doji and Now a Bear one(in futures) if we close the day in red , bye bye EU and DJ.

Now you are right only 9 time out 12.
Have a nice day.

The 5, 15, and 30 minute charts look accomodating for a bullish run. I just don't know where they want to take this yet.

Morning all.

I closed my last short at 1.2735 09:09 am GMT+1 with overall result +207% of my daily target. I`m not going to trade today. Its time get some rest after crazy session yeasturday. Today there is a lot of news for US and we may see a lot of speculation on eurusd so price can go crazy like it did last week. I hop you have your T/P and S/L in place and you all make a lot of profit today.

By the way derek good charts!

Good Luck traders!

I'm short from 2806, TP at 1.2700.

Looks like there is some resistance at 2730, but I still feel the currency is mucho bearish in the long run. I base this off of the sporadic faith in a select few of our big financial firms the past two days due to their profitable first few months of the year. America's main media focus is on these firms so I'm thinking any positive light on them (hello, dow up 400 on citigroups news alone) should be enough USD strength to drive the euro down.
Adapt to the situation, and exploit.

Derek,

By the way, just a quick question.

From your chart, why were you not expecting price to touch the lower trendline, by instead to bounce off 1.2740?

Nothing can predict the market. Just when you correlate a pair of currencies to some fundamental event it goes and bitchslaps you in the face by doing the exact opposite of what it "should".

What I said was just a personal opinion and could of course be totally wrong.

Fair enough.

Personally, I don't take notice of fundamentals much these days. The news aren't making people do what they are supposed to, and most of the action these days result from psychological factors, like panic buying/selling.

So just following price action works best right now I feel.
