New Sidus Method v2.0

Thanks Maihua but I already put it in there but still shows up as a "ghost" item in indicators. Maybe there is a limit to the amount of indicators in MT4 build 202. If anyone else experiences this and knows how to fix it, please share.

You did a great job for your first EA.

It probably needs a little tweaking - because it sure does like to trade!

But I believe you've got something here that's worthy of more attention than it's been getting.

I'm going to try doing some live testing and hope that some others get on the bandwagon.

Again, great initial effort.

Hello Sidus been using your method, but had just a few questions if you do not mind to answer. 1- Is their any way anyone here could could write an indicator signal alert for MT4. I use other sidus alerts they work well. 2- Is there a time frame from which you should enter a trade after the blue crosses red. Meaning if confimation is 4 hrs or later would this matter or just as long as blue crosses red then no matter what time Moving averages cross to confirm it would be ok to make trade.Even if a day later. I woudnt trade it in a live account because no forward testing or tweeking has been done to it. I havnt spent much time with as it didnt seem to get any interest.. I would rather see someone test it in a demo first.

very profitable method , but it seldom give signals but those signals it provided are 90% + winning . Good Job , will looking forward and trying to modify it to a better one .

Being a newbie in Forex one of my first lessons was "it doesn't matter what you win but what you lost". So you should never risk more than 2% of your total equity in one trade and never lose more than 6-8% in one month. If so, stop trade and review your strategy (see "Trading for Living", Alexander Elder).
I picked EMA_CROSS_2_RonModV71Sidus.mq4 file and add two rules:

1) Calculate the StopLoss (SL) so that you never risk more than 2% of your account equity (but your stop loss should at least 10 pips distance from bid/ask);
2) You never trade more than 100 lots. 100 EURUSD lots is 10 Million euros and I think it's enough for someone to trade.

This two rules use two variables: MaxRisk and MaxLots.

I tested major pairs from 2007.01.01 to Today and I found lousy profits except for USDJPY where I grow from € 10K to € 569K in 3 months!!! That's more than 55x.

Now I want to try to add this rule to Sidus V2 but I don't file the .mq4 file. When I test again I will share you with the results and the file.

It seems Metatrader has a limit of custom indicators that you can have in the folder. Once I deleted a few that I don't care to use, it showed up in the list and I was able to select it.

Just thought others might like to know.
