imagine a tug of war... you got 3 pairs pulling and pushing in 3 directions... once you grasp this you can pick out the stronger of the 3... combine this with support resistance atr ect.. and you can get a picture...first eg moved higher 2 times usual atr... very unusual... at the same time eu is going higher and near those numbers i posted.. those numbers are not pulled from thin air... they should at least slow upper movement down.. or change its direction.. because at the same time the atr on eg is 4 X normal... this gives an educated guess eu will weaken short term... at the same time eg is weakening... so in the 3 way tug of war this will strengthen gu short term.. the eur is actually the stronger pair.. but it has to get past a lot of other things going on at the same time before it can resume... and it if does not get over this stuff it will weaken..

[ON US STOCKS] The financial sector has led the pace of dividend cuts as such firms pay out only 11% of dividend income now. The cutback in dividends overall for S&P 500 firms is almost -$41 bln so far this year. That means less income for investors to save or and spend on top of the massive hit to household wealth from falling home values and stocks.

[GEITHNER TO HOST YANG] US Treasury Secretary Geithner will host bilateral talks with Chinese Foreign Minister Yang on Wednesday, according to Reuters, which cites Treasury officials. Geithner and Yang will reportedly discuss a number of issues, including the perennial favorites - China's fx regime and purchase of US debt.

[AHEAD IN US CONGRESS] Busy week ahead for Congress. Tues, Senate Finance Cmte looks at Obama's health care budget plan with OMB's Orszag to testify. Chrm Baucus is key player in the reform debate. His position paper from last Nov has elements similar to Obama's plan. The same day, Senate Banking Cmte has hearing on regulation of securities market. Tere is talk new SEC head Schapiro may consider reinstating some version of the uptick rule. On Wed, a House Financial Services sub-cmte holds a hearing on mortgage lending reform while Ways & Means Cmte looks at health care reform. On Thurs, Financial Services sub-cmte on Capital Mkts looks at mark-to-market accounting. The full Senate takes up the House bankruptcy cram-down bill and votes on the $410 bln 2009 Omnibus budget.

MOODY'S REVISES MERCK OUTLOOK TO NEGATIVE] Moody's affirmed Merck's Aa3 rating but has revised its outlook to negative from stable. At the same time Moody's placed its ratings of Schering-Plough under review for possible upgrade, including its Baa1 long-term rating. Moody's says the pending merger of the 2 drugmakers is sound but the negative revisions reflects the initial erosion in MRK's credit metrics and the reduction in MRK's liquidity anticipated when the transaction closes.

i cant believe the eg moved 200 pips in a day.. un friggen real

oops did some math software quoting wrong... but its still a huge move for this pair..

very good trade, i think tp at least 1550

and I thought of making a good buy at 1.3900

Closed out this short for small profit. It is very undecided at moment.
May go up!!

Just re- entered short 1.2637.
If this does'nt go down I'll give up for the day.
