One thing , I don't recall the exit. Is it when the signal goes the other direction on the 30M chart?

Not being TEB take this one with a grain of salt. But the exit is when 4hrs turn around or when the candles in the 30 min show a reversal pattern, or when price stalls and begin to show consolidation.

I got on the E/U at 1.3335 and the U/C at 1.2149. A little tentative on the entries, still getting my feet wet here...but liking what I see!

As JayJay noted, what's people's verdict on the s/l and the TP? I have a wide stop below/above the previous swing low/high...just got to figure when to take the pips of the table now. Would be good if anyone can share their targets?

Fresian looking at the charts for the US/CH it looks like you jumped into the trade when the 30 mins stoch crossed, but slightly ahead of the 4hr cross. Am I right?

If I draw the lines as TEB suggests going from the highest tf to the lowest, then yes the 4hr cross will be confirmed on the close of the current 4hr candle. However if I use the #MTF indicator and view all stochastics on the 30min chart I actually have a cross of the 4hr stochastic already.

Here are all indicators on the 30min chart. Sorry, but don't know how to post a clearer chart?

TEB,

to be precise, on which TF do you watch EMA for free room? Only on M30 or all three of them?

I'm stuck short on Cable from yesterday, didn't mange to shut it down with -1 pips and switch to USDJPY... generally I'm sick of Cable and switching to U/J for good - they pay nearly twice for the same price as on Cable and waves are very nice so fuck it!!

In my view this is a great cooperative group. We should help each other out.

Like any group we should adopt some guidelines. This will ensure that messages are not missunderstood and easy for all to follow.

For starts I think it is good to have the rules (entry exit etc )documented in one post. In that way we can refer to only one post. I for one keep forgetting and have to go back often to refresh.

What daya think???

i believe we should give enty signals only, exits are too personal in my opinion. Some might wait for the 30 to turn, or the 1hr or even the 4hr. It depends on individual trading strategies and money management

for example on gbp/chf on 30 mins chart stochs are in the bottom 20 and seem to be turning. now on the 1hr chart there is still some space for a few extra pips, the price is crossing down on ema50 and ema4 is right behind having already crossed ema13 and approaching ema50.

how would you advise on that ?
1) leave on the table some money
2)risk turning a winner into a flat trade at least

too personal to give signals.

entries are always easier to suggest...

I agree. However, we should document that "exits are at your discretion" or for those with no clue suggest fibos or some other form i.e bear/bull reversal formation.

for my trades I am closely looking eur/chf, if that goes down nicely, I'll keep all of them open until it crosses back on the 1hr chart

I know little about that pair. If you think thats the behaviour of that pair then we should look at adding those tytpes of remarks to individual pairs in the ruels section.

I'm not trading that one, but because the four open position that I have are basically the same as having 4 short on eur/chf. Doing 4 lots on one pair would be suicide. The setup allows me to differentiate while looking at that pair as the major move indicator for my open positions.

thats a lot of posts - every one having fun
I will read through them as the day goes on

Boy I had a lot of emails too
seems everyone is playing with the MTF
some of them look wild

but the two MTF other then the one I normally do
that seem to make sence to me are
1 hour , 15min, 5min
&
4 hour, 1 hour, 15 min

the 1st one I think is a really fast - for me

but the second looks like it might work - esp if we have
We will have a lot more signals & with so many eyes
lets see what happens

I thought I would try that time frame today - for a change
I think it will be easier if we are all looking at the same set-up - if you want
I think the win % will be a little lower ?
if you want to let me know if you are in.

Rules
1. 4 hour stoch sign Must be strong
2. 50 ema on the 15min must be strong
3. out for sure when the 1 hour stoch turns on us
4. I think likely 25-50 pips will be home runs

This looks to be an excellent system; being a newbie can someone please tell me if I have got the basic concept of how this works?
Using the Day, 4 Hour and 30 min charts.
Our first job would be to look at the day chart for all pairs, looking for a crossover of the stochastic 20 or 80 level, when one is found we then wait until the 4 hour chart does the same and then we move to the 30min chart looking again for the same set-up before entering a trade, all stochastic crossovers being in the same direction.

I would be very grateful if someone could list the system set up, entry and exit rules
and maybe go through the procedure step by step to make it clear to help newbies like myself.
