Shame 1.2600 capped the move up, Wish I'd of traded GU for a 1.4200 hold and bounce to 1.4260 area.

Very good odds on 1.2680 area being tested, which makes the risk to reward most excellent, risk @40pips to maybe make @90pips+, got to be looking at 60% odds on it working to.
Nothing to it, but to do it!!! Stick to the plan FOOL!!!!

plus buying less imports reduces u.s. devicits further strengthening dollar..until il something changes this should snowball.. also u.s. equity markets are at lows and could drop like a rock.. u.s. consumers spending less and with job loss this will snowball..european tourism and exports will suffer..u.s problems are bad but europes is worse.. bad news for u.s is worse news for euro.. it may spike over emotion but should remain in trend untill something changes it..it wont change till u.s. gets some improvement..unemployment in ca. 10%.. we just started in this cycle and it will take a while to get out of it..

The reason it's down might be to play the gap filler longs. Gap down week after week, just doesn't make good sense for any traders. Bloomberg has interesting article on USD "protectionism", talks about how a bad economy is good for the USD. Kinda funny how economics can explain anything, anyway.

I am of the opinion that this thing has been talked up short for so long, you might think the trade is getting crowded.

comes down to the basics.. supply and demand.. we aint buying.. so they aint suppling..they need to sell more then we need to buy. without a job you buy less..very simple needs to be broken.. u.s dollar index perched at a double top todays high pierced it...eu near a bottom..plus lower trend line needs to be broken.. these are what holding up eu.. if and when this changes.. i would not stand in front of it..

Boy, I dunno if I would be taking longs at 2555 with the most recent swing low just 40 or so pips below that. I see us breaking below 2512 before this gap is filled but who the hell really knows, eh?

Thats the big question is it before the GAP is filled? If it breaks down before I think you forget about it getting filled anytime soon.

Since I have done well to remain flat tonight I think I may put a SELL 1.2700 in case the Euros try to do somethign fancy and run a bunch of weak shorts overnight.

I would love nothing more than to be filled over night but I highly doubt it.

the gap is still in the trendline.(this weekends at least).. there will be spikes.. im talking longer term.. not tonight.. its a strong lower trend it may take a while if ever. my upper trend line is around 2706 another 2750 ish and theres one even higher then that...if your day trading or scalping ignore me..except if you are i would play ping pong off of previous strong s/r

T, don't go by what is said here. We all agree it is the big money that moves the market. Not how many bulls or bears are here on FF or in the media for that matter.

id take that one.. i think 2706 was the area it had trouble...i got sells all the way up to 1.2812 wishful thinking..got a little more comfirmation.. s/p futures at 722 acording to bloomberg...north america europe africa asian pacific futures and current prices all red

Just getting back into trade after a 6month to busy break, was trying to trade with less SMA's, realised the 48sma M5 called the tops of this market perfectly supporting the Downtrend.


At low's bounce or break ?? or just go sideways for HOURS

For all those who watch gaps. Here is something to consider: 2 gaps from long ago still unfilled. one at 1.21xx area and one at 1.03xx area.
