Eurozone would not be able to afford any resources. Gold already hitting all time highs (in europe), and as soon as Oil starts to come back to life, there is no getting around Higher Euro...Good luck!

I was looking at OandA's FXcorrelations chart and it seems the USD pairs correlation was completely out of whack this past week, as compared to longer term time frames for the same pairs. Generally, it looks like the USD is be held at a higher level than it should be.

Is this some market shift in correlation, or should we expect to see the USD drop value in the upcoming weeks?

The area around 2800 is the 50% Fib from Feb high to low as well as the 50% Fib from last weeks high to low. I am still a bear in this market and will wait for price to hit 2800 before I begin selling again. We are in no mans land in the middle of a bear channel but moving south (slowly) from a bounce off the top @ 3000.

Hopefully the market movers will decide which way they want this to go...I'm tired of waiting.

Just to keep things balanced here: there are some who are calling for EU 2.0 based on 'feelings' and oh the US will have to print dollars like mad.

Since when hasn't the US printed more money than God?

I keep thinking the EU was at 1.60 and now is at 1.26. All the while the s!%t was hitting the fan. So................... what is going to change the downtrend?

Tell me, I like to know your 'feelings' and maybe an actual reason or two might help. Anyone???

Agreed, I see nothing changing the trend. Super long term (monthly) is still up and is in a pull back (until about 2150 - 50% Fib) but as for the dailies we are still in a down trend, all the mid term charts are screaming it...my vote for the high this week 2800, at most 2900 then I am hoping for 2300 soon...

the same reasons that send jpy from 87 to current levels, and think a little why it was at 1.6, at the first place

Oanda opend low at 2630 but going up slowly...2650ish now..
If you need something important don't hesitate to ask someone else.....

The bear channel down - price currently in the middle of the channel off a bounce of 3000.

Caught who? That is what stops are. And then the little guy starts rolling on the floor at those who don't ever use stops. Not saying you are one but I've seen some post "they never use stops".

No, I am a mid term trader - I trade mainly off of the Daily - looking at the 4h and 1h for entries and set ups. I look at the monthly to get a BIG picture view...

If you use Fibs, draw one from Oct 2000 lows to 2008 highs and the 50% hits right @ 2150. Just a thought and if I was in the business of trying to pick a bottom or where we'll see a trend reversal (which I try not to do) I'd say 2150 or there abouts is a decent area.

I hope that makes sense, I am not saying we are in an "up" trend, my view as a midterm trader is the dailys are down.

Hopefully your right. Hopefully America can reduce debt by pulling out of Iraq and also increasing taxes as Obama mentioned, on the richer. Debt appears to be main problem otherwise I think the economy should recover. Hopefully they can create several million jobs over the next several years.

Quick Question, Does anyone on the forum trade using satallie rather than DSL or cable internet? If so please advise how well it works as far as trading goes? Any latency problems?
