I had a buy on 19 March; one lot +40 and one lot +80. No signals since then.

do you trade with two lots, closing the 1st one as soon as TP1 is reached?...or do just move your sL to BE?

Yep, 2 lots. I like to bank some pips if I move SL to BE. I have to get something out of the trade.

This pair got within 7 pips (including spread) of hitting my TP1 @ +40. Unfortunately it occurred while I was at work. If i had been at the PC I would have let it retrace to +30 then taken one lot. But, them's the breaks. I think I may have to rethink my stock +40 TP1 level. I may have to employ something similar to BB (ala ATR's) but the problem is I'm not able to be at the PC when the trades are executed. So, what are my options??

G'ay all,

Today I had 10 Fozzy signals. 6 of those were on JPY pairs, which had a big reaction to news last evening. Based on the fact that they had such a huge fall (some yen pairs had ranges of 130-150 pips) I decided the circumstances weren't valid to qualify them as Fozzy trades so I didn't take them. As it turns out ALL yen based pairs have retraced, some with ranges approaching 100 pips (more than enough to take out any short-trade SL).

The 4 trades I did take today were:

29/3/07 - NZDUSD Short @ 0.7110; SL @ 0.7160; TP1 @ 0.7070; TP2 @ 0.6980
29/3/07 - AUDNZD Long @ 1.1340; SL @ 1.1282; TP1 @ 1.1380; TP2 @ 1.1470
29/3/07 - GBPUSD Short @ 1.9628; SL @ 1.9700; TP1 @ 1.9588; TP2 @ 1.9498
29/3/07 - USDCAD Long @ 1.1596; SL @ 1.1548; TP1 @ 1.1636; TP2 @ 1.1725

I took the us/jp short; the aud/us short and the gb/us short.

Got stopped with aud/us, and us/jp and gb/us are not looking good.

I have to really take a hard look at the trades I am making. Why is it that my winning record is not good?

I took this trades regardless of the 50 line in the rsi. Maybe I shall consider Willf's method.
