EurUsd trade closed. Had exit target of 1.2600, but moved slow today and do not want to leave it open for the next 12 hours or so until the next European session begins. Entered short at 1.2800, and another during a spike up at 1.2780. Closed at 1.2737 for 102 pips.

Congrat for your trade #1984 .
Can u pls explain the connection between your entry and sonic's system. As I see it ...It's a very agressive entry , counter trend , based on BB. I can see the dodji/spike outside the BB .
Don't u wait for a confirmation of this reversal entry such as ...waiting for the price to be bellow the dodji/spike low price ?
Any other reason for entering this trade besides BB ?

From my posted chart, you can see that H-L-H had already occurred. Yes, my entry after the second High was aggressive. Entry took into consideration the price had spiked up and out of the BB and stopped at the MR1 midpivot. I entered very light, which is my rule in such cases, because we cannot know for SURE that the H just made will turn out to be valid. The PA could do a minor pullback and then spike even higher. But I felt this would be valid as it reasonably lined up in a downtrend joining that H with the higher high (the day before) and a still higher high two days before that one. But, I was prepared to add even more if it spiked a bit higher afterwards, as long as it did not seriously breech that downtrend line joining the highs of yesterday and two days prior. If I was faced with possibly adding to the short in the event of yet another and higher spike, I would only do so if the addition would be at least 20 pips away from entry, or from any prior addition.

I try not to trade using the "additions" method for obvious reasons.....the trend could be reversing and I might be adding failure to failure. But if the overall PA trend is valid, whipsaw PA activity does present the opportunity to pick aggressive entries and trade add-ons.

I wouldnt want to take this buy trade as price is at 61.8% fibo as it might turned from there which she did. Like what Bro Sonic said, your wave analysis was not there when you enter this trade.

It is EMA 89... I use it as a guide to see the overall trend... not a rule or signal...
