I have no experience of leaving in depression times. I just think that if the entire banking system collapses then the whole FOREX as a market will cease to exist.
Possible Diamond forming on AUDUSD 4hour.

Right side has not formed yet though, just guessing that is the border so far.

Maybe 127 first if the bullish channel (4hr) gets broken to the downside? On the contrary she might bounce from here to visit the top of the ascending channel around 143 and above ( as per your post).

I understand though that they should be formed of two triangles and strictly speaking I do not think that the one on your chart fullfils that requirement.
Having said that I still have to gain some experience trading them before I can judge whether the pattern is enough of a triangle or not.

The one one on your chart looks good all the same and based on the left down to right sloping diagonal the price should break out upwards (I haven't seen the CHFJPY price today so maybe it already has broken out).

Not really. If I don't see it straight away I move on.

Talking about real diamonds, some of the basic human instincts (looking for resources) almost gets "filled" when hunting for patterns using some of this methods

I had a feeling some of the Igrok's methods would work in the stock-market too. Well, there was only one way find out. I found this lovely comb on a Norwegian stock. Of course, I found another signal I took instead so missed out on this comb. What makes this fun is that today, few days after the short-signal, they suddenly had major cash-problems making the share tanking.

Another example how charts can reflex "future events".

Thanks for that, the blue arrows help. It seems after a bit of practice the rule is if you don't see it straightaway then the chances are your imagination is trying to take over.

On this one, there looks to be enough of a broadening triangle on the left, on the right it don't look like enough triangle as you say but again there looks to be potential with the upward sloping diagonal that the price will break out downwards.

Igrok, looks like we have bullish MACD divergence on the NZD/JPY dayly timeframe pointing to 56.27 Looks like a bullish wedge on dayly with upper border tested already 3 times.
