A few players linking the continued [GBP SELLOF] to an article in the [WSJ] titled UK bank plan needs clarity. The UK govt is running out of time to put an end to the UK banking crisis, the piece says, and Thur's Treasury announcement of the details of the Asset Protection Scheme is not expected to convince the market given the likely lack of clarity on the banks' future capital positions. If the WSJ piece has proved a weight it is not the only Gbp one today, i.e. a soft UK Q4 GDP report and BOE Sentance admitting there is a possibility of further rate cuts despite just 1.00% rates at present. Low so far is 1.4363. Expect more stops through 1.4305/50 and the 200-hour and fibo area.

It seems like shooting star you mentioned on 1hr was spotted in right moment. I was short since 2834 and was hoping to put some more shorts at 2850-2860 but it went down already.

There is some intereting formation on weekly chart and i believe we may see some more down trend before we can go up. At this moment i`m keeping some of my shorts open. I closed part of them taking profit ~40 pips each position opened, but i strongly beliewe there is much more to see and i`m willing to wait for 1.26-1.27.

They still have the pound? I thought that was discontinued

thanks, I've just been looking for a possible explanation. I googled 'Queen Elizabeth II died' but in vain.

Im not 100% sure but i think that is related with the time that opens the candle. On hour or two in diference can make a huge diference in what the candle shows.

Apparently this follows a request from fund managers in order for said funds to remain liquid. Note we also hear talk about a right hand side Eur/Yen fix for 13.15GMT.

we are in a symetrical triangle, you get the top line if you look at the 4hr charts and several different potential bottom lines from the 1hr.

too lazy to posting of charts, but we look like we just bounced off the bott line

Congrats on the FX vs equities. I am the same way. Consistently make money in FX and lose on equities and options.

Equities have horrid gaps.

I will never trade them again.
