just woke up to see the market is as intense as it was during the asian session. good thing i took my profit at 1.2800 last night and went short from there looking for a retest of the breakout level at 1.2765 or id have zero pips to count as profit.

In any case it does seem like a previous analysis of mine will hold up until this week is over. "the small doji on the monthly charts". in otherwords...any big moves....at this point in time only retaps of swing highs and swing lows for this week will accurately indicate future direction. For now...this market is best to sit out of or scalp if you know how to.

One other thing before im off for my morning cofee and ciggarete on the balcony staring at the small droplets of rain slowly bashing away at the fragile spring flowers...


in my posts i mentioned i use small positions and big positions. Big positions im very confident in the direction of the market...i feel comfortable risking 2% of my account. If i am not confident in the market though, I will use small positions with stop loss of 50pips still but trying to place the orders in areas where only a breakout of the range would stop me out which would fuel my bigger position on the true or false breakout.

Now small positions = 33% or 50% of a regular position. yesterday I gained a total of 125 pips using 33% of a regular position size. Now this adds to just about one 50pip gain trade at regular position size. Sounds like alot of work right?...but if you think about it...certain markets are not meant to be traded..including the past 18 hours +...this range is so tight it could break either way at any time. Still...that option would have meant zero pips while playing it the safe way...look where it got me. Note that my daily goal is 50-100 pips as i trade the Eur/Usd only. So this I can call a decent day when the market did nothing.

Yes, but I bailed, because I did not like the price. If there had been anything strong there we should have seen a violent break down. And as it is just meandering, I am not happy with the trade any more.
