No, not me. I trade dailies + only and I have no short signals yet. Patience is my middle name.

Looking at dumping a heap of my GU longs if it continues the way it is and geppy I will close for an easy 600 before the week is out.

If I was scalping EU, I would try lilmoe's HD theory long from 2550-60 (RTS line on the 4hr falling wedge I posted before) looking for 27ish or a double top from yesterday's high. Stops around 2500.

Don't trade that just cause I said it! It's my 30 sec analysis only. You've been warned

Looking at the EUR/USD daily chart, this pair has been in a downtrend since Dec 18. This trend is narrowing with support around 2515-2520 and resistance around 2700, starting to shape triangle and a break looks soon.

Do you expect it to break up or down? and what would be our target after break, where it will stop?

There is some truth in what Sensei Jacko said But unless you have a system that can tell you that the price had peaked or topping and also a stalling signal that price is on the way down, Both are equally dangerous........Judging from your entry level, I dont think that the system is in place when you take the trade.

It could go either way, but the triangle is a falling wedge which does suggest up.

Similar scenario on the weekly too. A falling wedge, which suggests long.

A break short could see it short lived with Oct 08 lows and monthly support close by (plenty of buyers will be in these areas).

If Oct 08 lows are taken out, 1.16 area should be the next stop.

Don't know if we'll see parity this year, I would like to see what happens in the high teens (the last monthly low back in late 05/early 06).

EUR/USD seems to be reaching its H/S target. It also seems to conside with 4H charts Fib Retracement level. See attached charts

A break below support and what looks like a rejection of the 1.2600 round number (break and retest) warrants a stop/loss adjustment. Now protecting 28 pips. This will be my last trade of the week. Regardless of what happens from here, it's nice to end a profitable week with a profitable trade.

It looks more like 1.15 to me. I don't think 1.16 will be too much trouble.

This pair kept climbing and I kept searching for news.

When it hit S3 I knew she was coming back to reality at some point during the day so I loaded up.

I had about 5% on the table at one time.

I'm a scalper so I took profits relatively quickly but I don't recommend the practice.

Worked out this time to the tune of 200+ PIPS. (1 minute chart below)

Just curious really... how many of you load up from time to time?

I do from time to time on g/j...never did with e/u.
Last week of Jan I got in long on g/j at 11964, add a Pos every 100 pips, had a very specific target in mind, 13000...closed at 12910 or so, +4200 pips.
It was VERY hard to do, having all that money on the table, and knowing it could all go away. But. its about having confidence in your analysis.
