What is NOT NORMAL here is the LOGIC!!!!!! Think of a 3-way scale...if two move the same level distance vs the third during the weighing process, then NOTHING between those two is changing!!!!!! It is just logic....no more complicated than that.

Well, it seems my believes in south trip were right - I've just closed my 3 shorts - total +188 pips, which is nice.

The EurUsd desk manipulators are dancing the prices just inside of breaking out psilohog's upper boundary.......

Well, right now "Go with them!!!" could easily mean load up on the longs during this consolidation/continuation just inside that upper boundary.....

....or, load up on the shorts while it holds up off the last low....

My guess (and that is all it can be) is this is staging for movement up. In time we will see which way it goes.

i fully agree with this "guess" which is why i chose to keep this small long position. However FOMC minutes and Bernankes talk are 2 hours away which is why im not a full position long as things can go either way.

as far as the current scenario goes, the downwards channel has been broken....1.2535 did not become resistance. Next target is 1.2565 which was the lower level of the previous range. From that point i see 3 potential scenarios (in no particular order as pa will determine)

1)W's and M's are common these days. A bounce off 1.2565 could push us towards the current low after which a double bottom or W develops pushing us higher again possibly towards 1.2625 or higher.

2)1.2565 becomes strong resistance and its only south from there

3)1.2565 is not resistance and we test the upper level of the previous range around 1.2625

All will be determined by pa around the 1.2565 level (give or take a few pips)

My chart readings, since last 3/4 weeks is that we are going to see a new low since last November!!
