took a nice +17pip profit on this trade. I think it could have gone either way though. I was like 1pip away from my stop loss too before it finally went into positive territory.

my 2cents on current pa. we have been consolidating at the low in a range between 1.2625 and 1.2565 for almost 24 hours now. After yesterdays dismal stock market day, one would expect a continuation. However, for the moment, financials are up and the stock market in general. Also, the news that was released not too long ago was negative but no real breakout has occured yet (nice chart feature btw). This is not scalp territory anymore as a breakout can occur now at any time with the fuel for it being the bernanke talk later or even the FOMC minutes, the anticipation or the actual data. Best methods of play here...wait for a push out of the mentioned range with a retest of the breakout level as providing next entry

Sidenote: broke down again while typing this with a close on 15min, 30min, 1h candles below the 1.2565 level..now if we see a little more down movement and a retest of the 1.2565 level ...i may actually short there...time will tell


another sidenote:stock market turned negative in an instant...clearly sentiment is bearish...interesting..still no entry for me

Ive been in since the top of the channel but I also agree. I think we will have much down movement today.

honestly..while everything points south....i think we will see a break to the upside haha..which is why im hesitant to trade right now...this gut feeling of mine keeping me in check...i suggest you reconsider whether you want your position open if we go back above 1.2565 again.

Here is something interesting. I assume the price goes below 1.25. That's the next cluster of strong support available below

ps. those are not your usual pivot lines. They are something totally different.
