Unlike a lot of others here, I try to post before the fact, not after.

It is quite common for people to come on here and post that they predicted a move after it has happened (classic example was yesterday after the strong move in the Asian session).

May I add this great quote from clockwork (for everyone's enjoyment), how true it is:

Agreed, I love being here for the exact reason that people have differing opinions. It has opened my eyes to some things that my tunnel vision hadn't picked up...

I appreciate your candor and the ability to explain yourself, sorry if I jumped to conclusions.

Now I need to go get my crystal ball and my camera if that girl has a sister...might get interesting

2582 looks like a good place to buy. ? I had a buy limit here from way earlier and it finally hit. I would imagine the way up will be very slow so at first so this may be a very long trade. sl at 2569 and tp at 2700 or just under depends on pa at when it gets close.

Sure... the US sucks but everyone knows it.

How badly does the rest of the world suck? (Huge I promise)

Very short term(like a 3am EST)... I'd like to see some EURO banks take this thing to the pivot point.

Should be lots of volatility around the daily pivot which means nice scalps off a bounce.

If it continues to free fall I'm only taking shorts when I've seen sustained new lows.

Following Mon's shocking data of Japan's Jan press machine orders (70% for auto makers, 20% for electric makers) that fell 98.2% y/y, Japan's Jan machine tool released yesterday dropped 84.1% yoy (94.1% y/y down for auto makers, 74.6% y/y down for electric makers). The unbelievable data show orders have mostly stopped in Jan. Smaller machine manufacturing companies would enter into a critical stage in Feb and Mar. On the other hand today's Nikkei Shimbun says [TOYOTA MOTOR] plans to boost domestic production by 30% in May as inventories can be adjusted to the normal level by end of Apr. Toyota's share price is up 2.33% to 3080 this morning.
