Not planning much for this pair until we hit 11830 which could give a nice sell.

Until then there's been a couple of good scalps from 11700.

Possibility of a trend trade if it ever makes it back down to 11500-11474 and the bottom of a former bucket.

Daily TL providing a bit of s/r here and there.

Paul, thanks for the chart. I don't typically look on timeframes that low to identify trades, only to manage them, so that's why I missed the repeated bouncing off the 8925 area.

Lots of round numbers in play here. Sundays gap it yet to be filled but I like the look of a revisit to 14100-14050 for a long and maybe a future short from the around the 61.8 Fib and 14700.

Thanks RC. I am looking at the 1.4430-1.4450 area for a sell. If you look at the pattern on the 4 hour chart, it looks as if we are coming up to test the right shoulder of a nice looking Head and Shoulders pattern.

Yes there's potential in that area perhaps a little more toward 14500. Be careful of TLs, Cable isn't respecting them too much - see my chart on Friday.

I have that SAME area marked on my chart. Not just for TL, but it is 3 different FIB retracments at the same area, gonna be a HUGE drop from there, I am expecting....

I agree with Cable not respecting trendlines, but I am more interested in the confluence of the 61.8% fib, Weekly Central Pivot (1.4454) and Monthly Central Pivot (1.4454). The TL justs adds another piece to the puzzle.

Morning,

Euro worked out well and iv'e closed that one for now. Not sure how much more that trendline will take before something goes and the one above it seems to be pushing the whole thing into a corner. Could be fireworks on this pair today.

Question for the experienced:

EUR/USD -- What do you think of 1.2590? Plenty of historical bounces, currently the bottom of several buckets between Oct 24 and Nov 17. My question is how much confidence does the line lose in your eyes because of the "use and abuse" around the first week of December? Not to mention that it would, of course, be against the trend (although I don't think it unlikely that a bounce would go up to at least the 2700 area).

Other than that, I'd be looking to hop on the downtrend off a retrace to that 2700 area.

After all the surging calmed down it was time to look for tops and bottoms that matched key areas to the left. I liked this one best.

Another possibility would have been USD CAD but the level had been tested several times plus I noticed what the CAD was doing on another chart and it gave a bad feeling of a breakout rather than a bounce.
