Possible diamond on eur/chf?
I really like those 3 diagonals even if geometrically it seems too
much flat as a figure.

Doesnt look like a diamond to me giusepp8. Bordersare far from beying significant and the shape is distorted.

Thanks for your explanation - I am looking at the intraday patterns using 30m charts.
So by weekly open you mean the opening price on Sunday night (the beginning of the week).

I know this is a matter of money/risk management but have you ever considered some trades with very tight s/l. If it does not go in your favour straightaway you pay a small price to find out if it doesn't, then if price continues to the stop/reverse level you can try a second trade from there.

Has anyone been watching for Igrok's article in Currency Trader, I thought he said in January, but I've checked December, January and February with is no sign of it?

1. Sunday open, yes.
2. That's what Igrok have tried to shown us for quite some time now. I entered that aud/jpy trade with 30 pips SL.

Check out usd/chf today, what template do you see?

I wrote the article and send it to them lonf time ago. Have never heard from them since. Might be some editorial changes inside the magazine. But don't know actually what's wrong there.

It seems that what everyone identifies as a double bottom on USD/JPY daily might in fact a two-diagonaled diamond. Not really a big difference in terms of initial behavior but the targets for the diamond could be on both sides of the pattern depending of the direction of the breakout.

I would say for USDCHF 18.1a, buy entry at about 09:30 CET at 1610 for 50 pips gain, and then another bite at the cherry at the same entry price sometime after 15:00 CET for around 80 pips if you moved the s/l to 30 pips above the first exit level (easy looking back after the event).

About an hour ago, based on 18.5a I made a buy entry with CHFJPY at 78.20. I was a little late, the correct entry was at about 77.90.
It has slipped back to -8 pips at the moment.

USD/CHF current month's range is too short. Considering that the main move of the month on the EUR/USD is in favor of EUR so far, then it might make sense to assume that the swissy will follow eventually. So, I would rather sell it at these levels to target 1.07 or so before the end of the month.

Looked like 18.4 on usd/chf to me
