You know I really don't get what the hell is wrong with this dude. Everyone already knows his feelings on weekend activity. HE DOESN'T CONSIDER IT VALID! But yet every weekend when people are just kicking the ish about what gaps there may and may not be, here he comes blowing out his pie hole. Suntrader. Not everyone takes your opinion when it comes to what activity there may and may not be during the weekend, and whether it is and is not valid. Some people don't have too much else to do sometimes, and they read charts, go over the past weeks trades, read news events, and try to speculate on what the direction the pair will head on opening. Doesn't mean a whole lot if the current gap is there or not, like Knucle said, it can't be traded. If you don't agree with what's jumping off on the weekends, then this is not a subject for you. Hold it down son, there will be plenty of other topics for which you can voice your 2 and 5 and 10 cents in with out creating drama. But every weekend it seems like it's gonna be the same ol ish. and I don't have you on the iggy list if you feel you need to holla back at me, but at least respect the board and do it in private.

And in regards to 1 lot traders over the weekend being meaningful!

Make yourself useful. look at the quotes for the Eu, and the USD/CHF and tell us if they are correct, and if they are correct that was a hell of a lot more than 1 lot being traded.

I hear you knuckle. After reading my post over I do feel I might have come at him a little hard. I apologize for that. The line that he said about people thinking 1 lot trades make a difference kind of just irritated me. I could sense the sarcasm there. In regards to learning from people, I do realize a lot of people are here to learn from others. I myself am not. I do quite well by not confusing my own analysis with that of others. If I take a loss, charge it to the game and keep on rolling. I frequent these forums to give helpful advice, and shoot the ish during down times. However I will not stand in the way of all of the good people on the thread, who are here to learn, or for whatever reasons that they do frequent the eu. Have a good trading week.

I'm glad you like the link(even though it has nothing to do with trading). I'm happy your doing well in your trading. Some of us do come here for the small nuggets of insight provided by others, and then see if we can incorporate them into our own trades. I've built a house or two over the last few years. None of them leak and they are still standing, but I still look at new building materials and blue prints. Learning is something I just do.

the eur is at the moment in dawnward pennant and will soon break out to the south on its way to parity or near parity at year end..

any comments ?

This is from a 6hr chart with tl's drawn from 4 months ago. The 3 circled areas are what I consider to be critical areas at this time. PA has respected these lines for months, so I see this as decision time. Up or down. I favor down because I also think we are looking at parity by years end. That has been the history of the pair during every recession period.

all depends on the broker. Some brokers are online now. My broker which is Interbank has another 35 minutes to go.
