I don't think the people here are trying to be mean to you. They are concerned that you're entering into trading too lightly and they've probably seen people wash out all the time due to a million different things.

Do yourself a favor. Go try trading a demo account if you aren't already. Don't lose your money. If you're reading and developing a strategy, that's great! The point is, if your strategy is good enough, you won't be nervous.

These guys are here to share and they're very generous in doing that. Please don't take advantage of that by insisting they give you entries and exits. You must do that for yourself.

Everyone should do each other a collective favor and put Elg on ignore. I have done it already but I continue to see his posts when they are quoted.

He refuses to take heed to the any of advice given.

Eventually he will either stop posting and go look at www.babypips.com etc etc or just leave exasperated in trying do it the hard way. In meantime the best way seems to be just to ignore him, unfortunately.

I've searched and couldn't find much on the subject so I'll ask here as it's appurtenant and I've seen a few talk about it.

Why is it that the price of the EUR would decline with the failure of a US bailout? Doesn't it make sense that the EUR would get stronger against the $?

If anybody can shine a little light on the subject I'd appreciate it.

@TGIF,

Normally speaking Hammer and Hanging Man are the same in appearance, Hanging man is referanced at the Top and Hammer like "hammering out a bottom" is a bottom.

Short answer - If the bailout fails, US financial system goes down the crapper taking the rest of the world with it. And please don't bring up "decoupling" - that's already been disproved. As much as I hate the idea of what we have come to, I'm realistic enough to understand that for now, given the seeming ineptitude of our elected and non-elected leaders, we really don't have a whole hell a lot of choice.

Lol, yea that is a hanging man!! If i remember hanging man also has another name, just can't remeber. But yes excuse my noobiness, next time i'll be sure to know it's the opposite of a hammer.=)

This better be a demo account.

If it's not, it doesn't matter if the price is higher or lower than your TP or SL. If you didn't know the answer to that before placing a trade, you'll eventually lose money anyways.
