Traders has been so beat up in the last couple of NFP that no ones know what to do now. Market basically STALLED. Or is it the calm b4 the storm? Actually I think everyone is waiting for the bigger news......$920 Billions stimulus package!

heh I agree about NFP trader sentiment.

Regarding Stimulus..That's a good reason to get long...but might be able to get in lower end of day for Treasuries announcement next week on bank programs.

15M showing little real interest in the spike to the upside, so shorts might be feasible, but I will wait for end of day entry, perhaps.

Well, one more coat of compound some sanding and I am ready to prime and paint the basement. I hope next week, I will be trading with you guys and gals from my new office downstairs .

I think I will revert back to my previous plan for today...NO TRADING.

If I m remember correctly, the last stimulus (bailout) package was passed in November right? EUR/USD went up crazy up after that. So if this $920B is passed then EUR/USD should go up again. Any comment? Plus, on the daily, we are approaching a HUGE support line......the same line prior to the last bailout package. Therefore, I think we will see a big rebound for the EUR. Also, that would mean this stimulus package will passed.........just a matter of $800B, $900B or $1.2Trillion

credit to anyone that made a news profit off that release tonight.

that was one of the most violent i have seen....... I can smell the stops and broken trades.............

jeez it just made a new high....... what a short squeeze!

You have to understand that this thread attracts newbies like yourself, which is not a bad thing per se, who ask a lot of questions. Some basic, some just dumb - "should I go long/short here"???

It is the only way to understand what is happening as you mentioned. But it can get a bit repetitious and tedious to continuosly answer such things. Although you will find that AK is one of the most generous with his trading knowledge, take his advice and research in advance the many economic news events both here on FF in the News part of the forum as well as a gazillion other news-related websites.

The overall trend is on the downside. EURJPY is making a doubl top. In its last visit there, EURUSD was very near 1.29. Both movements were rejected. I think that from here we are going down.

Also the dow movement is proppelled by the financial stocks that were martirized yesterday. Sooner or later we are going to see weekend closing positions.

I'm hoping 1.2851 area is it's ceiling, before going back down. Got fingers slightly burnt in NFP. Was looking for a quick short scalp prior to NFP, but it didn't happen. Should have learnt not to trade around that time!!!!

The S&P500 futures overnight trend (post 8:30am employ report especially) is UP. So if there is no reversal once stocks begin trading in 10 minutes expect EU to continue higher today.

With in the reach of 12900. It has been rejected the last 3 times it has tried to breach it. Let's see what today brings.
