What sucks is when you're holding short position and as you are nearing T/P, the spread widens to nearly 40 pips, then it reverses ... it gets frustrating, but I think IBFX is loving it ... I might have to use brokers like FX Solutions to trade this pair, they have fixed spread ...

I have a question concering the MM Feature.
If I set MM to 1 what do I have to set as risk to consistently trade
1 lot per 1k USD account balance? I guess I have lost a little bit
of gain because I had to do it manually.
ROI is now +600%

The problem with FX solutions is they dont use MT4 so the EA doesnot work there. My first broker was FX solutions.

That's true, they have their own proprietary platform. Therefore, there can only be manual trading.

I'm wondering if IBFX will ever bring back those lower spread that they previously had for this pair. I asked their customer support and they told me the wide spread is temporary, but it's been many months now. Maybe it's due to the credit crunch the economy is going through ...

FXDD has a fixed 17 pip spread.. but there .10 lot = 1$ and no .-1 lot where is in IBFX in a mini account .10 lot = 10 cents and .01 lot = 1 cent

I'm having the oddest prob and just wanna see if anybody else has had this. I've been playing around with the 5m 120MA EA and no matter what I change the settings to, it takes trades 20 pips away from the MA. Anybody else had this?

I have a FXDD Micro Account, of which .01 lot = $.10. You could send them an email to request for micro lot trading (opening a new micro account). However, FXDD's maximum leverage is only 200:1 as you may know.

odd, if its audnzd live it might be to do with ridiculous spread widening....

check that var4 is 120MA for 5min

If u go live, i'm sure the result wouldn't be 700% becoz they are different in many ways. One of which is the spread, demo spread and live spread are different sometimes. U should go live with 0.01 nano lot right now and not to waste too much of ur time in demo.

Once you go live, you'll notice the big big difference between demo and live price feed .... the spread is insane with this pair, especially if it's with IBFX broker ...

Change the ask to Bid in the buy order. You can have two lines on your screen, an ask line and a bid line. I used the ask line to into orders quicker on buys but as the spread widens it is line have no space at all from your median.

I'm sorry, but I really disagree with statements like these. I trade demo alongside my live account all the time to try new ideas, different entry/exit points etc. I hardly ever notice a difference in the spread on my live and demo accounts with IBFX.
