look at the 8 hour chart.
could there be a similar formation from end of dec 08 to beginning of january?

Looks like it failed because that support line is pretty strong. If it does break, we have a massive move down.

It didn't fail, just was tested. Chart is how I feel this will play out with a target around 200 pips on a confirmed break and retest of the neckline.

If it breaks above 1.2950 then this doesn't play out as a trade i will take.

i did not trade eu since last night.. i took 50 pips out on its way down and kept money on the side. was gonna sit this one out till better direction was known...and made a santa wish list on the other usd more major crosses with dollar strength.. my wishlist was entries i would love to have but thought would not trigger... 3 of my wishlist triggered... gbp.4548 cad 2248 and nzd.. 5150 all are possitive at the moment. (above 50 pips).. gonna manage these for a while even though since i started wrinting this they are getting an ass whippen.. and make another wishlist including eur..

Windows paint program *grins* high class indicator if I must say so myself.

I just drew them in to show where I think its going.
And I agree with you either 1.2900 or 1.2950 is next. And not trading either one. Will only trade a break and retest of the neckline here.

i think it will test another high. maybe 2960, 2985, 3017, 3035. or maybe revesral next hour to 25-27.

4hr chart does look confusing.

it looks like it tested a double bottom on the hourly and wants to test highs

i see the sidelines is the best place but might i point out my 4hour candles show that its dropping we just might see that 2700 level everyone was looking for
