1min bar closing at 1.2865, indicates to me a continuation of my short.

then Short EURUSD and long USDCHF

Personally i've shorted at 2870

Could someone please explain to me why when positive USD news breaks, the euro flies up? this is the second day in a row this has happened and my frustration is really starting to set in.

any help is greatly appreciated,

I'm asking myself the same question, but perhaps its a case of "buying the rumor (usd) and selling the news" in which case the eur/usd would do the opposite. ??

risk aversion dominate the market, simply any good news for equities will push dollar lower, dollar is considered a safe heaven on any risk aversion situations, also applied for YEN
