Those would've been valid entries because the signal bars closed lower, which were the bar prior to both your entries. The second one would not have been a basic signal, but more of a advance signal. The second had a stoch divergence, but not a trend line bounce.

Are there periods during the day when it's generally best not to trade using this system? For instance, 8:30 am - 9:15 am EST (just before and as the US market opens). Or 11:30 am - 1:00 pm EST (lunch time)? Or 3:30 pm - 4:00 pm when the US market is about to close?
This, of course, can be asked of the Asian and European markets as well. And perhaps can be applied to any trading regardless of the system.

Thank you all for your replies I have managed to get 4 out of the last 5 trades right, now.
Ok I have one more question. It's to do with my EMA's, I have 2 EMA's on the GFT charts one is DEMA and the other is TEMA. I have posted both the first is DEMA (which is the one I have been using) and the 2nd is TEMA as you can see there is s subtle differnce between the two.
My question is which of these two is the more correct?

It's great to hear how many of you close 4 out of 5 trades/5 out of 7 trades in profit. It's pretty inspiring actually.
I've had a number of good trades today ... however a number of trades that seem to give valid signals, within a candle or two reverse on me. When one trade reversed on me (after 2 candles), to minimize losses, I closed it and immediately opened a trade in the opposite direction. This one likewise, within a couple candles reversed on me and went way south.
Below, you'll see my trades (on the eur/usd). I am using the basic instructions as I'm just starting to use the force. My question: What in the world am I missing? I constantly enter what appear to be valid trades ... only to have them jeckle/hyde me. Please provide feedback. I thoroughly appreciate it. This is a great system. I know that I'm missing something ... I just don't know what. Please point me in the right direction ...
Here is the chart that covers when you made your trades.
#1 - no trade because macd did not turn red
#2 - a valid basic trade imo that went 20 pips bid to bid. Could've made something out of it.
#3 - a valid advanced trade imo that went 27 pips bid to bid.

I thoroughly appreciate your taking the time to look my trades over. The #1 trade you mention, not quite sure what you saw on my chart, but there was no trade there. Just trades #2 and #3. So, that means that thankfully, I'm doing something right ... identifying the trade signals.
I guess I either need to get into the trades sooner and/or get out of them sooner so as to maximize my pips.
I'm in the chat room and someone also helpfully mentioned learning pivots and support/resistance, because this plays a role as well.

just hang on untill i saw fit to cancle the order. I got out with +2

I must say that whilst I do love Nailing a big Pattern Trade of 200-300 pip's in one hit, you get board waiting for them to set up. This system has given me the oportunatey to get some great pip's in between Pattern trades or rather now I trade Patterns in between trading The Force, LOL.
It's taken me some time to get it sorted out but I love this system.
