Actually, my full name is Jay London Jeremy Charles Robert Clarkson Walker (yes, the London is actually spelled in Italic).

And since my name is London, I have to let you know that I'm taking the day off today. Instead, I will let the market decide.

same setup as earlier...

H1 in an uptrend

M15 pulledback below the 7/21, kept above the 50

M5 closed above the 50 and the 7/50 crossed up.

Upon continuation, the M15 closed above resistance, above the ma's, and CCI went positive.

Nice low risk trade with good r:r
Ignored
If the uptrend on H1 then only trade when the M15 and M5 is above and uptrend.

that correct?

Establishing fresh ties; [US] Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner and [Japanese] Finance Minister Shoichi Nakagawa agreed on Wednesday to closely cooperate with each other in tackling the ongoing global economic crisis. In the 15-minute telephone conversation, the two also shared the view that Japan and the United States will'"proactively" implement their respective fiscal stimulus measures, but failed to touch on currency issues. Comments having no impact on the market.

very nice...i fully agree...those last 4 candlesticks in the first chart look an awful lot like a bull flag...i expect continuation up and a break out of the larger downtrend....the only way i will trade this though is if 1.3265 gets broken...goes up a bit..comes back to test its become support then go in long myself...otherwise...too dangerous for now

In the last 2 weeks we have only had 2 candles on daily or 4h close above .3239 mark, and if you will look back at candles for this month( since people starting getting back in like the last 1-2 weeks) it appears that .3345 is the line in the sand for battle of bulls and bears.

Bulls took this thing north to .4700 right before the holiday consolidation and then we have been slowly riding down since the first of the year. IMO, we will test the .3345 but have to have a definitive close above the .3254 to even talk about that. If we can make ..3254 a support, then we find .3430 on our way to the .3511 area. At this point, If we even get this far, the bears come out and kick some bull ass., and as all markets do, we will retest last low of .2239, unless the wall at .2430 area stops it.Oh and by the way, all the crap we ran into on the way up, will be there on the way down except gravity helps with expedience!
See yellow lines on chart.
If you see this too, clean the sleep out of your eyes, if you strongly disagree, well....... who cares!

Boy things may have changed as long as this took me, so seeing charts will be like opening a gift now.

Do I look like I'm at the right track? I say we top out at 3400 if we close above 3250 today.... 3400 is upper trend line for me and 50 fib off the daily from 2600 to 4700.

I didn't plan it this way, but I bet I wind up taking the whole week off. Lost 18 pips earlier today at the Trend line, and then walked away after that except to come back and pontificate a little.

When is the downtrend going to start?

I am looking for a short opportunity. If 4H closes bearish, could it be the start of the downtrend.

Maybe anywhere from 12 to 24 hrs from now.

Or tomorrow evening at precisely 8:00PM GMT. A second past that and your life will be ruined.

[JAPAN] Confidence amongst small businesses slumped by 4.6pts over January to a record low 24.8 level. With the recession deepening, smaller firms were seen spooked by the major adjustments happening at larger companies; with the deterioration to place yet another dampener on consumer spending.
