I think it looks like a small move up and then a resumption of the downtrend

Yep, just thought I'd throw it out there again. Each time I feel prompted, I manage to say it in a different way. Might catch someone who is new or who didn't catch on before. Besides, what have I got to do until trading opens anyway?

I agree with special Ed here and it happens to all threads and its a shame because it destroys them. But anyway, the 4 Hr falling Bullish wedge has been shrinking since the beginning of January. And back in October and November of 2008 we tested a heavy support area from May thru August of 2006. We are at that area once again my friends and my guess is this revisitation could be a double bottom formed on the weekly chart. The evidence is there and clear. The UTL is clearly marked out on the Daily and higher lows prevail. Also you can not ignore that Harami followed by 2 daily Hammer rejections out on the Daily. Shorts are soon a part of history.

The guy earlier gave some sites that he considered useful to some. Just because you don't agree, or wasn't the first to put it out, doesn't make it any less valuable. So you have a few cheerleaders on this site whoopy doo big man. doesn't change anything. Stop trying to diss other peoples thoughts and opinions, because unlike a lot of folks here, your thoughts don't mean squat to me and a lot of experienced traders here. And yes you are on my ignore list, but every time one of your cheerleaders (In Miami we call them *ick riders) quotes you, you show up on my damn screen, with all of your sarcasm, and falsified glory. Now go run and tell your little closet buddies that. (You know who I'm talking about too.)

I believe, if I understood with my simple mind, that the quote by you that Suntrader posted and his post were in agreement. If not, that is still no reason to stir up a tiff.
As posted earlier, I do not want to keep adding to the ignore list as I eventually will only need 5 minutes to catch up on the posts.

Gregam, put it back in your pants, and I know that Suntrader will leave you alone. If you continually antagonize, you will continually waste valuable post space, trader time, and emotional energy.
You guys need to either bury the hatchet and let it go or find a place to.

hi well if u see macd histogram the 1 hour begin to cross down and 4 hour has just up from 1.2764 to 1.3000 when macd 4 hour cross up and because weekly and daily and monthly all go down
so iam sure it will go down this week and we will see 1.24 and 1.23 any one agree my info

I'm not quite that old. At least I don't think I am. We didn't have a TV until I was 7 or 8.

Looking at your charts, if there is a bounce here we have a higher low than set back months ago at 1.23ish. At what point can we say the downtrend is broken? I see the possibility of a delay in a deeper downtrend and a rejection at the moving averages included in your post, however is a change in trend worth looking at?

This is interactive...what do you expect people to do, exactly what you want them to? that's not interaction.

I would love to got to the gym with this guy. Oh and I have been to Boca Raton also, was there last week over in Sandal Foot. Back in the High school days, which was way back in the 80's I used to check big mouths like that all day every day. But in the sake of keeping the thread clean of unnecessary rhetoric and B.S. I'm done ranting! Big sigh! Just kills me how certain people try to belittle other's post as if they were the forex gods or something. Anyway back to our regularly scheduled programing.

Well according to your first chart, it shows that it hit resistance and bounced down, so I would not be so quick to say that shorts are history, unless, of course, you are a very scared long.

mikkom pointed out something very important that could affect the $ this week.

The bond prices are beginning to fall and this will be a prelude to the dollar falling - so watch bond prices and $ index carefully for direction.

If EURUSD won't breakout down trendlines on lower TF's (like H1) it could go down to very interesting point:
trandline + end of the wedge.

after waiting for long time for a long position the following setup emerged

wave v and 5 is becoming more a typical wave 5 of the falling wedge
wedge tightening with a immediate breakout on the second test on the upside
H4 daily weekly candlestick patterns support positive (longish outlook)
waiting if will be a opening gap down or not
volumetric analysis not finished yet (update soon)
cci cycle seems over , signs of new cycle emerging
cci ghost inverted over,
waiting for ZLR , on positive good sign
waiting for a 50 200 ema crossover to happen
if positive , a good sign of a new trend
waiting for a retest of supres level 1.2920
the friday squeeze was maybe a first sign of bearish exhaustion
and the beginning of the first retrace wave (be it a-wave of the latest drop from 1,47 or the beginning of the 5 wave of the december movement)

weekly fundamentals support a wide range outlook
usd index seems to have peaked

risk :
countertrend
COT say euro selling goes on
risk-aversion will continues to dominate the next week events
strong rejection of the upper wedge

rewards:
1 target 1.3280
2 target dependable on the retraction of this first move (approx 1.3380)

break of 1.2685 eradicates the bullish outlook
this is swing trade not scalping or intraday setup
