Believe this is another consolidation period in the long term trend , thank you for the comments trading very short term 40 to 80 pips with tight stops and small lots.

Simply, on the close of Dec 10th's bar(1.3053), Oct 23rd's Resistance(1.3004) was broken. Price then went up with virtually no opposition and topped out at 1.4720. Price is now at 1.2987 (back at Oct 23rd level approx). Friday's bar also tried a run down to the close of Oct 23rd's bar and was rejected. With this information and the fact that 5 of the last 6 bars have all closed beneath the lower low bar formed on Jan 15th, I consider it is a very good time to look for a short on one or more of the lower time frames(1hr/15min/5min).

This is how I read it,and like all of us I can be very wrong.

It could go either way next week. If USD keeps the trend despite really bad domestic data (which is coming, this may be the worst batch of the whole crisis), we can realistically start talking about retesting the 1.23s from October.

Peronally, I will go midsize short with stop near the 1.32. Actually, screw the stops! If it reverses, I will declare it a "Toxic Asset" and ask my government to bail me out.

current price 1.2848... hope either nobody left a long open over the weekend, or it comes back before open.

Hit top of triangle at 1.3033 - rejected

Sunday it should climb back up and test again during Asia.

Remember the climb and drop last Sunday? If it cannot break thi area then history should repeat itself.

If it does break the EMA is sitting in the 3084 area that will also get tested.

If it breaks that then the top of the channel is around 1.3250 or higher. It will also get tested. I doubt it is ready to complete all of these steps yet but it might.

number 1 indicator is oil right now. it went to above 46 on an OPEC cut. Considering reserves I think it will drop a little first.

My target area is 3084 - 3100 for a short - real tight sl, if it breaks then I am waiting for the ntop of the channel to try another. if it breaks the channel I figure I will start all over.

Oil and gold prices mean nothing nowadays in relation to the US$.

And how long has it been since the last day that bad news didn't come out for the US$ ?

It is risk-aversion folks. Plain and simple.

More bad news just about anywhere equals world stock markets going down and dollar going up (except against the yen).

Watch how the majors are all moving and not the snoozws. You will be better off.

Word on the "street" aka World is that BOJ may intervene if USDJPY reaches 87.10 ish... I've made more pips this week trading GBP and JPY than ever, they're the two opposing forces right now, the more the rope extends, the more it as to contract... or break

Can any one share me his openion about the next move ??

I have to possible senarions up on 4H and Daily charts,

First due to 4 H chart, we will go up to test the upper band of the down channel and this will be on 1.3220 : 1.3250 range and then go down,,,so will short from this range

Second due to daily chart, we just touch the old daily down trend which was broken on 15/12/2008 and going up till 1.4718 before return down to test it again,,,and we just test in on friday at 1.2764 before return high again,,,and this mean we will go up again and exceed 1.4718 , so we must buy at any dip to 1.2860 or even 1.2910 area ....

I am really so confiused guys,,,,can any one help

I think the real thing that will validate the second senario ( UP move ),,will be a 4H Close upove 1.3345 Area,,,,,,,As we didn't close upove it after breaking 1.34XX area with a tripple failed trials to close upove it ???

Price can only do three things, Go UP, DOWN or SIDEWAYS. It' our job to analize the charts and decide. My (Humble) analysis from the Daily chart is that it is going to go down but I need confirmation from lower time frames. As stated before we are not always right. If only!!!!!!

The big boys trader will see the market support, so they will look the up and the low will be gone
1.3500 ( up target )
1.2400 ( down target )

for my view the market still move yo yo zig zag and at this time down trend is strong but as we seen the change of trend is veru dangerous...anytime will be happen.....so we work together

As we seen..last week 2 hours berfore us market close the price spike up 150-250 points.....can this will be happen for next week...we must beware for the boming time for spike

any suggetion for this ?
