Seems to have gone quiet, which is a shame I was learning a lot from this thread.

GU and GJ should have given 300 to 400 pips today...Do you guys have an EA for this? I think it is completely a mechanical system.....

There is a very tight IB being setup on the cable. Data was good for the cable this morning so it has stemmed the downtrend for now. If the major down trend resumes on the US open, this could be a low risk high reward trade with S1 as the initial target.

The only reason its quiet is because I got a lot going on. As soon as Lynette gets back and I get out of this crap job I am in, we will bw back to normal.

There are big plans ahead and those loyal to this thread will get first shot at the new stuff. For right now just follow the rules and stay out of the market at low tides. That is all I will say.

Jim, I can't begin to say how thankful I am for you having started this thread. I had used the IB setup on the 1H charts with success, but have found even greater success following your trading method on the 30M and abiding by the rules. There are a greater number of trading opportunities using your method, and I've begun to see and understand things I had never seen before while trading.

hi all

advice please i'ii describe the trade as am not sure how to upload charts its 1.24am gmt the chart am looking at is eur/jpy an IB from at 12.30am the perious bar low is 114.89 the t o m is short should entry be placed at i.e 114.84 for short

please correct me

I have been working on an IB EA for several months now with minimal success. I am curious to learn what you have done to make this rather subjective technique more mechanical. Good luck.

I will tell you that just anyone can not write an E.A. for this system. The E.A. for this system must be able to trade only certain hours and days. It must be able to trade only with the trend and have an ATR value built in.
