Very wise. I was just thinking about hanging it up until this afternoon. Been trading intraday since the London session but no results. I haven't placed one trade. Just gauging the market. I've come to the conclusion, this is not the market for me at this time. Will continue to wait until a solid trend shows itself.

Yes, you're absolutely right. Going to take the rest of the day off. Eat a load of junk food and watch the inauguration. I've lost less than 50 bucks, which I should be able to make back when I'm in a better mind frame hopefully tomorrow. . .

Bemac posted something some weeks ago ((possible longer)) that was incredibly simple and elegant about when to trade and when to stay out, as only he can.

Unfortunately, I forgot to bookmark it. The jist of it was that it is one of the more important things that one can learn about this bizness, more important than any system, indicators or lack therof, etc.

Can't be more solid than this one.
5m down, 15m down. 30m, down, 1h down, 4h down, daily down, weekly down, monthly 6 of the last 7 bars, down anything under the 5m is indecisive noise anyway.

Good morning all, or day, or evening....depending on where you are! I am a late bloomer today....sinuses are killing me!

First, Ak4x is responsible for making me a quarter pivot freak, and I thank him immensely for that, as they are the shiznit!

Update to post #57328

I am posting a 4h chart with a channel drawn awhile back extending to
Dec 25 08 till today with a broken line mid channel. It has been quite strange for PA to respect this as close as it has for so long, but hey it do what it do!

Also, back in down channel on my 1h chart, was last move up a bear flag?

If present 4h candle can close below .2926 area as previously noted, IMHO, this bad boy may stop at the next lower floor on my 4h S/R chart at .2692.
Wow, those numbers look funny next to each other!
We may see retrace to .3031 or .3088, but if we close a 4h above the .3390 area, all the bulls in here will be looking better.

30 Min STOCH divergence could be sign of short reversal before continuing down.

Im done for today. Maybe this afternoon, we'll see something but I'm not getting my hopes up.

Just logged on to CNN to catch the live coverage of the inauguration. CNN has contracted "Facebook" to host the live stream with an interesting live comment section off to the right. I expected this day to be huge but I didn't know it would be this huge. Read somewhere this morning, Facebook has logged something like 15 million viewers this morning on their live CNN stream and expecting many more by noon.

If next 30 min candle opens above 1.2907 IM looking for retracement to 1.2990 - 1.2994 before Shorting past 1.2900.

very strong support at 1.2907, but i think it will break it to 1.2844 soon.
