agreed... it's dun nuthin' since 2:30, just wibbling around, staying out till something happens.... i'm up about 7 pips LOL, maybe tomorrow.

So I'm the one who out of his mind today. Just looking some pips for my parking fine. 10 pips per trade this time is ok to me since i have nothing more to do. My recent scalping range is only 3141-3155.

New York and London — 8:00 am — 12:00 noon EST
Sydney / Tokyo — 7:00 pm — 2:00 am EST
London / Tokyo — 3:00 am — 4:00am

Stop predicting the future and start reading your charts. When the move down began in september all oscillator were screaming oversold but the move contibued anyway. now, someone who does the predictin must have gotten burnt preety badly. Read your charts, if they dn't say up then don't go up.

wow. missed in on the action again this morning....

I find myself looking at longer and longer TF's, while trading shorter and shorter ones. Not sure what that's about...

In any event, I think the red target zone shown below represents what I'll call ((for lack of a better term right now)) the "natural buoyancy" level for EU at least for the near to mid term. I could easily be a little low on the upper side as well. It may be closer to 29.xx

Obviously it could spike down below or above that range once ((and if)) it's reached. Think of it as where price seems to have found it's "waterline" for these times. Surley Turvo or Islander or one of the other squids here can tune up my terminology, as I'm deficient in all things nautical.

I've given up any expectation that price will see the sub 20's at this point. It seems Something would have to happen of a radical nature to push price down that far and I think everyone is so deep in the same mess atm, who would be able to tell the difference?

One of the global market sentiments I've been looking to appear for some months now is that very subjective shift from "It's bad or even it's REALLY bad" to "It's hopeless".

One carries the prospect of looking for the "light at the end of the tunnel" if we just keep pushing thru it, and the other ((hopeless) realizes the light at the end of the tunnel is actually a train.

I don't think we're in "hopeless" yet for the most part anyway, altho some sectors and regions clearly are pushing in that direction, and I don't think anything clear can or will emerge until some weeks or months into the new Obama administration.

Curious notions have been penned and floated about him ((Obama)) somehow being the hope and future for the planet, able to bring in desperately needed and positive change to the tiller of the only country still able to exert direct and significant influence and power beyond it's hard borders, and that that ability will somehow spread beyond those borders into places of great need.

Hope is a funny thing if you have it or can find it. It contributes to decisions and courses of action that make no sense either at the time or in hindsight. Then there's the distintion between realistic and false hope as well, but that would be another post. The lack of hope, and/or the perception there isn't any to be had create their own dynamics as well.

I am convinced we're on the threshold of one or the other... time will tell which, and quickly I think.

I plan to trade it either direction...

Here's another hint... S1 at 3157 clearly broken and working well as resistance now for over 5 hours. Both the Quarter Pivot at 3121 and Psych level of 3120 are currently Support over the same interval.
