pending order was hit... target was 3740 based on flag break.... but with better than expected news... closed at 3690 upon the stalling and no new high on m5

g/u is about maxed out as well... time to look for pullback entries me thinks....

Most American and European don't like Bush.....so they say what the heck, let make Bush looks bad one last time b4 he goes. Then we will drive the $$$ up when Obama take office, to give him all the credit. So no matter how good the numbers turn out, $ will be weaken...........................

Nobody knows for sure, I guess it's one of those times (1/10) when the price goes the opposite way of the news and there's nothing you can do about it.

"Economic Data: Initial Jobless Claims (USA Jan) out at 467k vs. 545k expected. Continuing Claims (USA, Dec) out at 4611k vs. 4483k exp."...this came from my brokers. It was the continuing claims that gave the Euro the kick in the butt.

The news of all those job losses is still bad. I don't see how in the big scheme of things a few less unemployed than expected makes a difference. The bottom line is it's ugly.

All I know is people all around here are getting laid off. Look for January filings to be AWFUL.

I was long yesterday at 3700 expecting 3820 going -150pips just to close the position today before the news at -30pips because that looked appropriate and right now I'm long again since 3700 expecting 3820. What a wonderful life.
