Let us becareful of the trendline I have attached.I drew it from a 4hr chart.So we may cover our positions now.

Yes post trades before the event ,or dont bother. That is Jims wish (after eventing is for other threads)

Please remove your charts or make them look like ours. That will be too confusing to our new traders.

We have had 6 IB trades today in the last 7 hours and all of them were positive. I got 20 on 4 of them and on 2 of them the breakeven stop was not hit and I got 100 on 1 and 110 on the other. Here we have the U/J hitting and bouncing off of the 76% fib level. This pair looks to be turning back with the overall trend. We got a nice Harami, ( Grey Area ), for a reversal.

Enjoying the thread - i see a 30min reversal pin and with an inside bar on this pair.News came out earlier on the nzd and from what i can tell nothing to jump up and down about.Not recommending anything just thought i would pass this on.

I agree with H1H1 about the chart setup because everyone should be on the same page when looking at charts and he wants you to use candle recognition at some point. I will add however that if your lines are on the screen to show entry and stops then it appears you have not added the 3pips either side past the setup bar. If you did but I can't see it sorry but if you didn't allow for it you should.

As always, the most difficult time to trade is the time when the T.O.M. is opposite the major trend. This is where you will have more losers so be carefull. We always have to have days like this and if your not comfy with it then don't trade that day.

Hi Jim thanks for putting together this thread and all the time and effort you put into it. Im looking foward to growing in the future. When you get a chance could you please post your pivots indicator so we are on the same support and resistance levels as you.

What do you do if you have an IB with a trigger bar high 0f, say, 1.36 and your long order sits at 1.3603 and the next bar forms and reaches a high of 1.3602 and goes back down. Still not to the low of the trigger bar, but lower. Effectively, queering, the pretty IB formation. Do you leave the order in? or cancel?

Jim has said he sometime takes trades in the right direction 7-8 bars after trigger. Watch out for pivots and trend. Or all rules from post #1.

Your ATR should be set at 20, and STOC at 5,3,3.

Can you give me any reason not to take this trade on AUS/USD at 11:30 EST last night.

Long and short term trend was up.
89 MA was moving up.
Price was above DPP.
Chart showed a small correction but not a trend change and price was moving back up.
Candle was solid green at time of trade.
