The Eur/Chf pair is the third link.Its not moved much and what movement its made has been in favour of the euro(up).The primary mover right now is the E/U pair.It will have to reverse.Or you might hope for some extremly bullish news from SNB which is not very likely.

What I do is that I look if there is a clear trend going on in eurchf and then decide which one I want to trade at the moment (eurusd or usdchf) or if I trade a combination of both.

Just to clarify, I take positions based on eurusd - usdchf is a mess on technical level but sometimes if you can clearly see that swissy is getting stronger than euro you can trade usdchf and get some easier trades than on eurusd.

Well, I was long on that break up on m15 and m5... which I don't normally take.. and what is happening is why I usually dont'... seems like the triangle is redefining itself into a box on h1 and m15..... I love that... glad I got out with a few pips after i saw that.

Could still go up.. but at this point I don't care.. thought u/chf had broken to downside too.. wrong again.

Remember that if you are long time is running against you. It's just a matter of time untill the bigger trend catches you.
If you trade with the trend it's the other way around. Sometimes the trend will get you out of a mess.
For me trading the big trend was very easy and relaxing. All I had to to to is locking in profit....

The Euro is going a little unwinding on the commodity pairs it appears. These pairs Eur vs CAD, AUD, GBP all ran hard and fast during the "great unwind".

Will it resume after a brief correction? Where does the dollar fit into all this? The Aussie and CAD pummeled the dollar today - how can Euro stand alone as the "big downer?"

I guess tomorrow we will find out.

Today people loosing money, but we do not. We do not trade.


Almost 3 weeks market was in unusual conditions. X-mas, New Year. Lot different political conflicts in Middle East. Today is really first day of normal market and it's big mess in USD pairs correlation. I think in Euro session everything will set up in place.
