I disagree, oil does not have nearly as big of an impact on currency as does the gold. And even so the gold's correlation has withered. It seems to me that the down trend in eur/usd will continue, regardless of oil prices.

I took a short from 1.3965 and closed it at 1.3863. Also took a second short today at 1.3980 closed it at 1.3885. I did not expect to see the break of the channel so instead scalped.

I have been going through the forecasts from some of leading banks and they are all expecting the Eurozone economics to play catch up with rest of the world. Estimates for the Eur/Usd are around 1.18 to 1.26, check out the attachments...

Any way we move from here is forward. I trust you have seen the likely top and bottom. So we wander from one to another, but place our reserves on the side lines ( both are likely now ) as 1.41ish is our new yearly pivot. By the way thank you for DIBS. EU will rise a little bit to 1.42 next week think before taking south.
Oil still downtrend and will bottom at 31/30.
Gold will retrace to around 850 840 before breaking thin 900.
UCHF will pair sooner or later.
EA will return to it summer value around 0.8 0.9 with gold rising .
I think we will see Gold in 1400$ in the few next month. before ending 2000+ by end or beginning of 2010.
I dont see EG over 1,1.

I do not like to predict that far ahead, especially in forex markets. There are just too many factors that become unaccounted for, and too many circumstances change. For now I will say that my expectation for eur/usd next week is to head south, without prior retracement to 1.42 area.

Forex in the weekend is mostly wrong. Some traders close their positions friday . Try to look at XE.com from Sunday 6:00 PM GMT. Anything before could be wrong data.
