Reading all the thread from beginning again and again..backtesting all day..I like this system and will follow from next year.
Great stuff.
Some of the people try to add their ideas..they are maybe good, but the system is simple and looks profitable. I did trade in lats weeks before Christmas even on live account and made pips ( broke the rules no demo ).

Another BIG BEAR day for the EURUSD following a bull rally during Asia and early European sessions.

Price was already down 150 pips as London closed 17:00 gmt. A failed retest of an exisiting upper TL showed resistance and the Force indicators showed bearish momentum continuing. The entry at 17:10 was safe with a 20 pip stop placed 1 pip above the signal candle high. This drop moved 180 pips in 100 minutes, that is a FAST move at 100+ pips per hour.

Consolidation ran for one hour into the NYSE close where the IBFX Day Open price rejected a retest. This was good evidence of resistance. 25 minutes after the NYSE close the Force indicators again showed bearish momentum ready to continue.. The entry at 20:25 was safe with a 20 pip stop above the signal candle high. This drop progressed very quickly to +80 target in just 15 minutes finding some temporary support at 1.3970.

Lesson I learned...

The open price at 0:00 gmt (eg IBFX Day Open = DO) is an important level to keep in mind. Price action around the DO is like a pivot, acting as both support and resistance for swing points on the same day.

By the way robdee, can you please post your template. The price action is so clear in your charts that it would be worth that we all have this set-up. Thanks.

Hi HBS, please see attached template file which I use for the US pm session summaries. It has everything except my experimental MacFade indicator for MACD. You'll need to add in your own favorite MACD indicator.

I have learned from ForexJedi to look at the market from both directions.

When I see solid evidence of support for the bulls I close what shorts I have that remain open. On Monday US pm session that occurred first around 1.4030 near the weekly pivot. I expected a bullish reaction from that pivot.

The second short I closed when I saw a DB forming at 1.3970. As it turned out this was only temporary support and I could have kept the trade open longer for more pips as price continued lower.

Doubles that form on major pivots or long term trendlines are my usual exit points for intraday trading. For longer term trading I look for large (24 hour+) reversal patterns.

I wrote myself a small indicator in the histogram style started by kinonen, to show when all the conditions for a basic Force signal (5 ema, macd and stoch) as described in Post 1 were in place. It is not as sophisticated as the AudioAlert produced by Robdee and does not have any alerts. The reasons I wrote this were that I wanted something which showed me the signals as they were in the process of forming, that did not appear on the main chart because that muddies the chart information for me, and which provided a look back record of the moves that followed the appearance of the conditions.
As robdee and FJ frequently say however, indicators are only a means to an end. The goal is to read price action on its own without indicators. The image shows the Wednesday price action, with the histogram indicator above the MACD histogram.

Thanks for all the feedback on the AudioAlerts indicator.

With 100+ downloads of the last update I see there is a reasonable level of interest in this project so I will continue.

I have added one new feature in this update. That is "Line Alerts" which is controled by a user setting. All the signal logic remains unchanged.

LineAlerts = True
One alert per candle when price touches a line (that is any trend line or horizontal line on the price chart)

I have also decided for myself that printing arrows on the price chart is too distracting. As a result I have changed the default for this setting to False.

ShowChartArrows = False
This enables or disables the printing of signal arrows on the price chart.
