price at previous level of supply on 10 min chart-tempted to take a short--might need to help you smoke that chart to get up the nerve

it looks like going to 91 ??
i wait for BOJ rate decision and see what happened

What would you say the long term trend for this is guys? To me, on the daily and weekly it looks like its heading towards 79? Seems as though its got a freefall type thing, broken through support.....but short term its up, and still going up.

I wonder what they are discussing in there ..

Dollar May Decline to 84 Yen on Charts, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ Says The dollar may fall to around 84 yen based on trading patterns, according to Masashi Hashimoto, a currency analyst at Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ Ltd. in Tokyo.

red line is TL
blue lines are trend st dev channel
khaki color lines are gann grid

charts tell me UJ is about to drop again soon..maybe we can see 92.00 area before drop..but red color TL proved itself as a very strong resistance at previous bullish moves..so i have bearish bias now and will have so until red TL is broken..

MACD - 55,21,8 – sell usd/jpy and wait till indicator is at -0,29 and buy here, should be around 0,8950

Finally my trade has gone up. I am now up +200 pips. Price now at 92.25 My SL is now at BE 90.25 & will move it up as this trade keeps going.

hey guys! any comment for UJ? it seems nobody interested UJ parity nowadys..

for me..i have still bearish bias since no improvement in fundamentals yet ..but UJ is consistently going up..i m quite suprised to that movement..and this remind me the day Obama has elected..UJ then saw 100.55, there was bullish atmosphere everywhere..and just in a few days down momentum has resumed again...Obama now cause similar effect to UJ with stimulus package..but effect of this also will be temporary i think..cos nothing seriosuly will be better after this.. in following days with probably negative US data UJ will resume bearish movement again.. this is my view about parity..btw my views was proven to be wrong at recent days

how abt your views dear FF people?

one more thing: Is that stoploss hunting bull run??

i am waiting for 1/20 and i hope to have short position after that.
i usually don't predict but exporter from japan are nervous how much UJ going up then fall, i believe these company might be settle to sell $ around 1/21(they expect higher $)

anyway, did you check powell interview at meet the press, about 1/21,22?

Yen May Rise to 85 Versus Dollar This Year, Morgan Stanley's Feldman Says The yen will strengthen another 10 percent, touching 85 against the U.S. dollar for the first time since 1995, before falling in the second half of the year as the global economy stabilizes, Morgan Stanley’s Robert Feldman said.

This hasn't looked like a bottom since it started in the middle of December! If 90 is taken out to a daily close then 87 will be tested again with a potential to reach the long term 138.2 retracement of 84.76! It would also be important to note that the 8 day MA on the weekly chart (which has capped the market well in '08) has not been taken out to a close yet. Until then a short would be the best longer term biased at the given moment. The possibility for a bottom to be presented is definately a thought at current levels though - not yet!
