E$ opened at 1.4046 and just hit low of 1.4044 and now experiencing minor bounce.......looks to me like the manipulators are preparing to RAM it down to close the gap....this session? Or may be open with gap down next session...just an opinion.

EDIT: Look at that almost 40 pip "bounce"! Tell me this is not being manipulated up each time it gets low...... IMHO, the manipulators are taking every opportunity to suck in longs, so they can short to them. Well, time will tell.

i hear ya.. its hanging around some decent support (within 50 pips). getting ready to enter. if it goes to next support ill buy more and look to cost average position..i got a limit of pain. near 500 pips..but on the upside i expect more. long term is on my side. the trend is my freind.. but the olny sure thing is i will sometimes be totaly wrong. 250 pips pullback is just a kickup on this pair..

This EJ 15 minute chart tells the story, imho.

They increased the range by 100% (yellow steps up). But they only accomplished this with a manipulated gap up, which did a lot of the work for them. Then they continued to pump it, but DIVERGENCE is giving them away! This eventually will collapse, and it may be in the early stages now.

These bastards have pumped it to short it. And they will pull the rug from under it when they are ready.......all just an opinion.

E$ is in the same boat.

very interesting.. eu on normal trading doenst corelate much... but a fast large dip or spike does... maybe i will get a better entry if i wait.. thank you... lower volume makes manipulation more possble

overall comodities prices excluding gold is hurting aud. eur doesnt seem to want to drop rates... but if this changes this pair will be a good short term short term for a little while..

Yes, you could get a very nice long entry....

If this hypothesis is correct, when they pull the rug after all this manipulation, IT WON'T BE FOR A MEASLEY 100-200 PIPS!

those gaps.. do you think some banks and brokers open a little early to cause this gap while other banks and brokers remain closed? a big bank could make an easy billion im sure in a few hours..

It is all about making money. And who covets it more than bankers! Well, maybe some hedge funds. PA movement rarely has anything to do with real value, and most often moves simply because the Top Guns in forex NEED it to move to make their weekly profit goals.........

Greed is the ONLY true fundamental in forex, and we are talking Central Bank trading operations and large hedge fund operations. The PA moves where they want it to move for the purpose of their profit making, NOT because that is where it should be based on true relative values.

The mortgage back derivatives scandal should put eveyone on notice that nothing has any value except what the market manipulators PUT ON IT!!!!!
And they will put up a value that moves the PA in the direction they have already positioned themselves to make a profit in!!!!!!

hey if eur drops, gu has better indications with my indicators to drop even more.. except it has to break 52 week low after that who knows.. it should drop faster and further then eu

Although I agree with some points you make, some of them are conflicted. I do expect dow to go lower, but this will result in dollar heading north as well as gold south.

Ok I know I don't get the decoder ring but come on. Yes the dow is fated to go below 6000, and maybe 5000 (but I'm not holding my breath), but oil is close to the bottom and gold shouldn't go south until the rest of the commodities show real strength. Damb it give us the ring or atleast some reason for gold to drop.

This is usual occurance on the 26th of december. This day usually goes against the trend of the prior few days, so it is no surprise that there was a slight rally today. For now, I have closed all my shorts on the 24th. I am actually getting a buy signal at the moment, however I am extremely hesitant to take it due to prior experience with holiday trading. Sunday's price action should provide a clearer direction.

I say, dont try to rationalize a post holiday day. It has no rational explaination, someone just wants to see eur/usd higher, for whaterver reasons. I am waiting till Sunday to take action...or not.

Right...but sometimes divergence continues on for weeks, without any sizable correction.

Not unless they exit at a liquid time, which means holding possition over the weekend and into the open of japanese session (which may also prove to be quite illiquid, due to post holiday volume being low).

eur/gbp shows a different picture to me...I have see price action just like that before, back in 2007 w/ nzd/usd...we all know what happened then.

You have a good sense of humor man. My thinking regarding dow dropping and usd going up is simply this: stocks' value is represented in usd, if usd heads south, then stocks should go up (of course given that there is no trend present in the stocks themselves, much like the current consolidation). Same goes for gold as it is valued in usd. Just a simple explaination, dont want to further confuse myself.
