Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and looking for a happy new year. I have been working on a Gateway, that will give us a heads up on the direction we are going to be breaking out to. I have backtested and added a Dot system to show us when the trend of the moment has ended. Why would we want to do that? Because if we knew when the T.O.M. has ended, we can pretty much be sure the breakout will be opposite the old T.O.M. It is a takeoff of the old SHI indicator.

By the way, all my backtested trades have ended up in positive situations. Example below.

Keep in mind that indicators are derived from prices. The more complicated they are, the farther they are from prices and the farther away from reality. Prices are primary, indicators are secondary, and simple indicators work best.

It is an old version, and it does repaint. However, we do not care here because we are not using it as a signal. Everyone knows how I feel about indicators and because they lag, they suck. But even if this does repaint it still may give us trend change confirmation, and that is all I want here. I will not open it for use until I demo it, I just wanted you all to know that I am trying to improve a bit. If we can get the direction a little clearer, then we don't have to sit and wait so much.

I am learning and actually in that trade I should have contented myself with 15 pips instead of putting the atr value as tp.
DPP + 89sma created a supermagnet that kept the E/U on ranging till 24th december.
