eur/aud just broke a daily and weekly resistance. if it gets some steam may be a decent long.. be careful look at your own charts.. spreads are wide may not be for a tight scalper with a week heart...... merry xmas

hey last post the daily re/sup was a 4 hour one. if looking to trade this one find a good entry. it was 500 pip higher a few days ago. the long term trend is north.. be careful...this in more of a position set-up. and this time of year could be suicide..im alreadt in but willing to have a 500 pip sl... not for the meek

I find myself in agreement with you. Looking at EJ on the hour chart as an example, in the last few days the market moving traders (Central Bank trading desks and large hedge funds) have set the high of the range around 126.50 +/_ 10 pips, and the low for the range around 125.50 +/- 30 pips. But has time has progressed, instead of a PA breakout downside, they have manipulated the lower boundary upwards towards the high boundary. Thus, they are effectively forcing anyone who wishes to trade, to trade at higher and higher prices in this upwardly constricting range. And I think the reason is that they are taking on short positions. So the higher they can force others to buy in, the better the price they are shorting at.....keeping in mind that not EVERYONE can be shorting or going long at the same time....there has to be balance in opposing positions. By forcing higher lows into the charts, they make it look plausible that a break upside is coming, and lure longs into the game. And they are more than happy to short out to those longs as they squeeze the price upwards to that high boundary. If this is what is happening, they are planning a big move down.....after the X-Mas holiday.....during the holiday?

All this is conjecture, but within the realm of plausibility. There is bearish divergence on the hour chart, too.

hey man up 7 trades doing this scalping thing ranging from 7 pip to 45. up about 135... then my broker triggerd my limit tto pending trade at 14000 pips away from my entry... almost had a heart attack because tto sl also got triggerd.. man i owed broker money when i looked at my account.. *L* got it fixed now but always check your brokers math.. they are often off...at least 6 times in the last 1.5 years for me in misfired trades

If you name your broker, then they will have an incentive to improve their performance.....knowing that their performance is a subject of free flowing information exchange on the trading threads.

mb trading. they fixed it but still owe me a commission and -.84 cents im showing on that pair. i just have to call them.. it screwed up all my green trades... i hate red!!!

*poking out chest* hey remember that trade we talked about 2 wks back? when i was long at 1.0266.. just for general information it got up to 2.1and change...man i got out with a measly 350 pips!!!! AHGGGG

My broker never has that problem.

that range was just for yesterday, looking at the weekly or daily charts, EJ will be moving up

I've been cruising the FF threads looking at the other traders systems. If you don't mind, which system do you follow for your long term trades?

I've been watching the same pattern, which by coincidence is identical to the one that recently played out on gold (was short from 848 to 829). I agree with down, soon enough.

6 wks back(early nov) it broke a 180 min decending penant. its long term trend was north with a great angle indicating lots of strenght..it was below .8500 then and went low as .83something. I got stopped out with a .8480 entry.. it dropped just enough to hit my sl.. then went north but has left many 500 pip pullbacks like now...it think it will hit 52 week high again and further in long run.. even with dollar strength it still was heading north until a few days ago.. if usd weakens slightly and or oil drops sharpen your pencil...there is 700 pips just waiting their.. its now north of weeky pp 2.0515 ish.. if this wasnt chrismas week i think it would now be nearing 52 week high.but with that said dollar strength weaken eur more then aud.. so be careful with sl.. not for the meek

Or, maybe not. You are making a definate prediction, it sounds like. I am not. As far as the daily chart goes, PA is in a range for two months now. And the PA has recently been strongly dejected from the high of that range. Trix is crossed to the downside, but without folllow thru yet.....

So, imho, it remains plausible we are witnessing effective manipulation to hold the price up while shorts are taken on by those that have the money to move this market.....and they will move it when they are ready. Up? Down? I do not know. But there is enough in the charts to support the hypothesis that the next big move will be down.

Edit: Attached 4 hour chart shows the resistance area the big boys are trying to keep the price up around. And while they are doing so, the volume is fading, interest is fading, and the trix is dropping.......so, imho, it looks to me like a suckers play to draw in longs so the big boys can add more shorts to their portfolio.....just a thought.

i use fx made easy for longer trends because its charts angle idicates strength of a move.. that part of the reason last week i wasnt sold on that long term strenght of eur last week.. gbp long term was opposite of eur..so i only scalped usd pairs..with all this said i was thinking paridy on eu 2 months back and still not convinced something like that wont happen. my long term eu and gu are still conflicting.. so im neutral on usd majors.pairs. i still got a limit pending uj pair long at last weeks low... i still think boj will intervien... or i cal sell mules to japan.. japans done stick a fork in her..

I don't know about the BOJ, Toyota is going to(if not already)post a loss for the first time ever. Japan has real problems, what do you think the BOJ can do.
