I've got the room set up and it looks fine for what we need. Has file transfer, text, sound, webcam if needed, a whiteboard (so Jim can draw trendlines ) just about everything really for our needs at the moment, we will be testing it over this weekend but Jim has used this one in the past so it shouldn't take long to get used to it. Then we will be good to go

Definitely far too many threads in here get sidetracked, with so many new indicators that don't help a system and different timeframes that it then is nothing like the original which usually worked great if left basically alone.

Im too have been a quiet observer of this thread. Am currently trading futures but am interested in also dipping a toe into the forex game, and this methodology is right up my alley - simple and, when adhered to, profitable. Look forward to following and implementing your suggestions Jim

Threads far too often get bombarded with too many suggestions, templates, and indicators....to the point where the originator and the original style of trading is drowned out and has metamorphasized into another trading style.

Jim sounds like he's adamant about sticking to the original rules, and ALL should respect that!
Learning to remember and follow those rules are another thing...LOL

One of my most successful nights in a long time was, after I discovered Jim's method this week.

I work 12 hour nights, and I'm always near a computer, so I am eagerly awaiting the start of the week.

This Thread is great. All my congratulations ot Hard1head1. This is very information and great way how to see trading. I really like it.

And also, please all respect the intent of the thread of Hard1head1. It is his thread and if you cannot respect what he ask for in term of discussions, please go see another thread. He like to use 30 min and so please stick to it.

Another matter, how can I be invited to join the new format for this thread that you are setting up? i am very interested to be part of it.

To make sure that I will not be a disruptive voice, please see my posts in the past. I am always constructive, positive and respectful of everyones.

Please let me know how to join the new format which i think is through skype.

Just to get an idea of direction, I have made an observation all ready for the upcoming week. An I can do this cause I am the boss......lol and thanks to Lynette for helping me because I can not do this alone. I have spotted some hidden divergence in this E/J pair and that coupled with the Descending Triangle and the news that the automakers are getting their pot-o-gold we can start looking for some downside IB's. See for yourself.

More hidden Bearish Divergence on the EURO. Playing right into our hand. Direction, direction, direction.... If we know the direction and where the trendlines are and the PP's and the 89 SMA.... IB Trading becomes a piece of cake.

OK everyone, we have the room setup. Bear with us while we get used to it all, we will try to have a moderator in there as much as possible, but if you come in and nobody is there.....well, we do have to eat and sleep sometimes.

You will need to pm me for the room url and password, please don't disturb Jim asking him as I am trying to keep as much of this out of his way as possible so he can work on presentations etc.

Rules for the room - basically what Jim has posted here, strictly the system itself, and, at the moment, trading the 30 minute time frame. Nobody with any kind of agenda of their own will be allowed to stay in the room.

When you're asked to give a username on signing in, please use the same one you use in forex factory, it will make it easier for us to know you.

Thats about it, please bear with us while we all get used to the room, and it should go great

Just to let you all know, I'm in the UK and will be going to bed soon, as its getting pretty late for me here

Anyone that pm's me now, I will answer first thing in the morning. There is plenty of time, we still have to sort out presentations etc but being able to get into the room over the weekend is a good way for people to get the hang of how it works before those happen.

Love the charts Jim. Let's see these babies not breaking those down channels next week =]

PS I was in on most of that GU downturn Friday and I think the only reason it turned up some some profit taking at the end of the week since everyone made some nice pips last week on the shorts.
