By the way, we have now touched the 60 LWMA on the weekly - one of cobraforex's favorite indicators. I really like using it, though more so on smaller TF's. It is amazing most times how well it works as s/r. That said, any resistance can be broken and this week is stellar proof of that!

I agree, but weak USD in December seem not right at recent time: December last year, E/U was at 1.4770 at beginning of month and at 1.4730 at the end of month, and G/U was about 2.0700 at beginning of December 2007 and at 1.9700 at the end of month, 1000 pips lower
It means that USD is now even strong in December.
And now EU will have to cut more rate than US, so EUR must be down faster than USD , that's why I think E/U will be negative in coming time
Some of my ideas, may be right, maybe not, just share with you

euro is rising faster then when it was falling, wasnt it at 1.31 just a week ago?...crazy

if you are going to short; use small lots and large stops... this market can move up / down 150 pips in one hour... if it goes against you, you can double up.


if you would normally use 1 lot with a 40 pip stop use 0.1 lot with 400 pip stop... same $ loss, with much better % of not being stopped out.

1.40 to 1.3950 area is now full of fibs... could be a good target for a short retrace... but not today

I am sorry to nag, but you are wrong (just like I was earlier today)...I covered my shorts at a profit overall because the price action told me the contrary. This 400 pip move up suggests that you ARE wrong at least for the day, so why not ease the pain by exiting some or all of your short position? Entry is just a spread away.

EDIT: not that much follows the rules these days... oil price is actually dropping atm
they had already cut most of that months back. its 2.something they agreed to cut now.. it totals 4.2. but most of it is already priced in since we expected 2.2 i think.. market already had priced it in.. the 4.2 anoucment sent a short term spike..then lower again. once numbers were explained
