Prefer to wait until rate cut. But overall, it will move north I think. I'll wait for a new low before I go long.

How much it will go down you think? I'm looking the corrective too but don't think to take any short but long only.

Wow, slow night, made a few pips scalping... but mostly zero trades. lets see if we can get a nice entry on the next down leg, maybe it'll set itself up for US open.

Does anyone here know a good book or a forum that explains forex hedging, terms and definitions would be nice. Some of the traders in this forum talk about hedging their position and not using stops, and I misunderstand the lingo.

I believe that depends on the broker. I know Oanda doesn't allow hedging but I can hedge with IBFX.

u can hedge with oanda but u have to create subaccount

The FED has to tell it's tail yet, and there is more possible bad new for the US economy do out. Every banker in the world has decided to inflate the EUR to this point. I think the time to go short may only come with a less than 75 bp cut by the FED. For now I'll scalp or stay flat

Yeah, but what about making pips? you can hedge a trade by taking the other side in another account but then no matter where it goes you owe the broker and don't see a dime.... one of the traders in here was talking about having two trades on in a different direction... that doesn't compute either, it's a contradiction, "two positions of equal strength to one postion".... I NEED A FOREX HEDGING DICTIONARY! I can't follow it.

Absatootly! Staying flat and scalping has been the only way I am making pips in this market, all my swing attempts get zeroed out and I haven't been in the market for a good buy or sell yet.

Maybe Euro Bull Traders that are stuck with Longs above 1.40.
Waiting to see their money again!

I am waiting to see big Volatility Today.

I have a short open.
A retrace is likely to see, but with this bull run it is limited.
Waiting to see Volatility doing their job, don't get caught on wrong side!
