Yeah, I could miss a couple hundred pips to the north, but I have to lock profit until I get a pile of the house's money. 1.35 could take until Jan.09

So we still need to see a break of the 1.2900 to see further gains. Although we might need more buyers so a fall to test 1.2700 is still possible.
It still looking bullish at these levels so will have to see what influence does ECB and FOMC do to this pair.

Hesitation and third failure to break R2 @1.2887 upwards with strength...

Looks once again the DJI will have the deciding vote for further directions today..

Re-entered short @ 1.290 with tight SL..

IMO same scenario as I posted this morning..

As always...just my 2 cents..

Additional info:

"The dollar index, about 1.25 lower on the day, near 85.85 is close to support at 85.60, which may be a interim low on the intraday charts. A bounce from support might begin an uptrend to 86.10 charts say. If trades are stopped below 85.60, however, then look for a dip to 85.31"

1.28 starting to look like the 4H 20 SMA bounce, IMO

As expected DJI has opened higher...

Problem we have is last week some correlation was lost..then suddenly picked up again...
If correlation is back in place..strength of upwards momentum should determine further directions for the pair...

My problem is the hesitation I currently see at this level...hence my remark this morning..."floating on thin air"...

I normally don't post third party opinions..but here is a view I share and which reflects my current thoughts...

"Dollar is weaker against the euro and most other currencies as risk appetite improves and safe-haven flows are reversed. But analysts say they have seen this before, and suspect it might not last. "We believe that with the underlying global economic picture deteriorating, the bounce in equities is still essentially a bear market rally," says Vassili Serebriakov, currency strategist at Wells Fargo Bank. "Money market rates are also not suggestive of a major improvement in credit conditions with the LIBOR-OIS spreads rising over the past week. We thus remain cautious about revivals in risk appetite and for now see pullbacks in the yen and the dollar as buying opportunities"
