wow. very nice system. just a matter of trusting the technicals and going with the trade. it seems better after 10 eastern when the market calms down.

Another VERY good day with this on demo, trading both pairs. Closed out a few at a loss, but most all were winners. Haven't counted, but probably a net of at least 150.

My setups/templates that I use are different from the one used here. I combine indicators and the methods used in this thread to enhance mine. I'm not trading slowly on the MA's, those are just there to support my decisions. Like you mentioned, "one must still be cautious and not just arbitrarily use it as is".

Hi,

First, my compliments on a really nice system. I noticed in one of the first examples you showed us that there were several dots on the right side of the screen that you didn't put a box around. I was curious why you would have passed on these trades. Was it the fact that the RSI line had not crossed recently, or that the price action was between the two lines (or something else I'm not noticing)? As a general question, will you take trades when the green line has already crossed in the right direction during a sustained trend for quite a few bars or do you only trigger when they all cross at once?

Next week I am going to begin demoing it...with great hope I might add!

Ive also mentioned that if the candles are moving inside the 2 pink moving averages, its generally a range market, so u can either hit-n-run 10-20pips on the trade signals or simply avoid it.

The best trade signal is when all conditions are met in the range on 1-2 candles.

The Rsi crossing the pink line , RSI is basically a volume based indicator (that's what i believe) so on top your seeing the heiken ashi candles showing price action and below your seeing the volume action telling u about which way the money flow in the markets.

IF you trade mechanically each signal, you will have less risks and more winners, if you want to stay in a trade for potentially more profits (like waiting for the RSI to cross) then you have to 1st breakeven your trade and then hang on to it. Breakeven a trade puts u on a 0% risk on that trade

I also found a similar indicator that will even alert you with a message box and/or e-mail. Just make sure to set the risk value to 1 so it works like the dots.

This system is crashing MT4 as soon as I load the template on my vista installation also.
Starting to see instead of just looking.

After loading the indicators, did u restart your MT4 before loading the template ?

Anyways I'm including all the mq4's i managed to find. Hope it fixes vista issues.

Yes, I closed Mt4 before loading the indicators to the expert directory.
Are these indicators any different than the original onese on page 1?

PS: Just downloaded and installed them all however, the crash still remains.

Just donīt use the template. Same thing happened with me and Vista.
I just inserted all the indicators but never used the template - this way you should be fine.

Using the little dot for exits is a very bad idea because it repaints a lot. Heiken-Ashi is all-wished among traders but in reality the indicator lags.

You know, you had some threads open around FF. The "big dog" thread is completely different strategy than this one. My question to you is, what happened?, The big dog doesn't cut it for you anymore?

Just make sure you have the latest build (220 AT THIS TIME) installed on your computer. You will have to do this manually as the security in vista does not allow MT to do automatic upgrades.

Just click Help ... About in MT and see your current build. If lower than 220 then follow the link in the about window and download the terminal again and reinstall. You can just reinstall to the same location and all your accounts and indicators will stay as is.

Now you will be able to use the indicators and templates again

This solved my problem

During your trading hours between London open to New York close, do you trade every signal mechanically and then make a quick exit if it seems to be going nowhere.

Or do you use discretion and only take the entries where there is some obvious movement.

Or...yet another possibility: Upon seeing a signal to do wait to see whether it starts moving before entering?

The reason I asks that a good number of signals occur during trading range markets. Earlier, you had given the advice only trade when you see the price action move outside of the moving average channels. But still, it doesn't seem easy to tell you're in a trading range until you're in the middle of it.

I curious as whether the system is able to profit even with those shorter duration moves.

Why are you people so agressive? A person kindly shared his method...we all know that money management is the key, but he is not obliged to share it with you. If you are clever enough, you can figure out a proper MM for the system.

Also as u may know, a good trader should have different strategies for different market conditions: Big Dog is a break out strategy, TwinBlade is for trending periods, U may want to look at the chaos system (the link was posted on the previous page) for ranging as well as to use it to determine whether it is ranging or trending...

Then, the author did not attempt to force anyone to use the system: if u do not like it, do not use it then, as simple as that, but do not abuse the person who put effort into it.

You should read my post again. I pointed out flaws with the system. A valid ones. Let's get real: If you post a system here, you should be aware that many eyes will be looking at you. Anyone can post his/her opinion as long as is done with respect.

If you can't take a heat, then don't post.

About using many systems, another big fall. Actually the "dog"strategy is another trend-following system. Same principle.

I appreciate the efforts of sharing but let's get real my friends, many of them is just an attempt to get vindication from other traders.

A constructive criticism is not only a good thing but necessary as well.

The system has many flaws. I stand by my previous post.

I demoed the system last week with very good success. These pairs are fast movers, but very rarely did I have a trade move against me when both pairs were nearly in sync with the dots and line crossings. Not 100% were winners, and the few that went against me, I cut my losses at anywhere from 10 to 25 pips. I'm not sure what the guy to do for you. Want him to tell you to use a 50 pip stop, so you can then criticize the system for having a bad risk to reward? Want him to tell you to use a 20 pip stop ALL the time, so you can then say AHA, I get stopped out. The system was only intoduced a few days ago, and I bet you haven't even demoed it yet. I've seen negative posts such as yours on other threads. People like you trying to get atention. trying to find the Holy Grail. Wanting a guru to spoon feed you. Or, trying to find flaws in systems you haven't even tried. The man isn't forcing you to trade it. You want a stop loss. OK. I recommend a 30 pip stop loss. Happy now?
